Anyone want to discuss a griz coach, player or recruit in depth?

That’s what I thought also but was told that it was always a possibility because if their long friendship and years of being teammates. Remember that this happened right before their run up to the state A basketball championship their second championship that school year. I would take this bet that if R.J. was already committed to the Griz, he and Greg and John would have flipped Troy to the Griz. The most important miss by the staff besides the obvious, was why didn’t they recruit R.J. and throw a package offer to Troy and then turn the whole Fitzgerald family loose on him. Yeah he would have been a Griz. I know that Troys sister ran track at MSU. Anyone have any idea what his deep blue roots were. Interesting to see how a detail critical so to recruiting could be so carelessly missed, father and uncle on two different nc teams. There should be a wing of the champions center named after the family. Lol. If Bobby doesn’t have somebody on staff already doing this he should get someone to keep track of former griz sons, daughters, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends of the program and all us alum and ask people to send emails regarding local talent and griz legacy players. With Facebook etc., this should be pretty easy and inexpensive to do. Thanks
