I was thinking of Ellis yesterday, how much we missed his presence and what a big game like that would have meant to him. Hope he is well and getting ready to return!

Emailed his father on Thursday with holiday greetings (yes...damn right I was fishing too) and was told that they have started working with UM on a return for spring term. Says the past several weeks have been best he has had for a long while. Keep praying for the family and stable health.

REALLY glad to hear he is getting better as well. I was thinking about him after the game yesterday and how he is exactly the king of receiver we have sorely missed (especially against EWU) as one who could get separation from the defenders (like noone else seemed to be able to do) and be a legitimate deep ball/home run threat.
