You are a liar. Tru had no FBS offers. It had nothing to with grades. I will check on Wilson. And EWU did bring in multiple low academic players UM wouldn’t, with Prop 38 or whatever it was called.

While Tru had no FBS offers, did any fbs show interest? I'd think at least some calls.

Either way, we were fortunate to have him and Jimmy Wilson.

Tru had fbs interest and waited for the fbs until the last week or few days before signing day.

Thanks for the info on our signees. The real stud from this group (by stars) is Iverson Young. I am a paying member of Rivals.com, and I tend to value their star rankings more than I do 247sports. 247sports has a reputation of giving way more 3-stars to recruits than rivals. It has been alleged that 247sports is better at Western kids than Rivals, but I am not sure if this is true.
To get a comparison of how Rivals ranks our class, here it is:

Rivals does not even have Jaylen Hall in their prospect database.

I'll have to admit, I had not checked the Rivals rankings for our signees. They are ranked pretty high. Keep in mind that a Rivals 2-star ranking is often equal to a 3-star ranking by 247. Good post, and thanks for the info. My criticism of this class was obviously too harsh, except for our continued failure to sign a QB who other FCS teams coveted. I just don't see how we can miss offering 3-4 solid QBs from our primary recruiting area (CA, OR, WA), when many of our Big Sky rivals are after these same kids. Vernon Adams, Eric Bariarre, the two Idaho QB signees from the past two seasons.

We are also after 3 star Hawaii drop down Riley Wilson. Had offers from Indiana and Hawaii and was getting a look from Arkansas. He was playing LB at Hawaii I believe

Idaho is definitely back as a emerging power in the Big Sky. Their early signing class was 23 kids, with three 3-star kids, including a 3-star QB from Tulatin, OR named Jack Wagner. And they accomplished this with a second-year coach. Oregon is a state we recruit in. Did we even know about this kid???

Wagner had Big Sky offers from Idaho, Montana State, and Portland State, but not from us. Instead, we sign an in-state kid who we will make a safety.

Just another example of Hauck's lack of ability to sign solid high school QBs.

Looks like Eck is cleaning house and running off a lot of dead weight from his predecessor. He had a huge recruiting class to replace those portal players. Idaho will be very young this comming season, but Eck is doing things right in the re-building process, and will be a force in a year or two.

Yep now he’s 6’2 220 lbs and runs 21 mph according to a video I saw. Can fly around and is physical. Would be good pick up for sure.
