Agreed on Scraffy. That's why I got him and Gragg as the starting tackles.highplainsgriz said:Kirk Scrafford (UM 85-89) played right tackle for 2 of the better left handed quarterbacks in the NFL, in Boomer Esiason with the Bengals, and Steve Young, with the 49ers, with a stint for the Broncos in between. A Grizzly Hall of Famer, who, in my mind, at least deserves mention in the thread. Otherwise, tremendous research.
Great Griz but didn't catch a single pass in the NFL.Proud Griz Man said:Brian Salonen - Dallas Cowboys
That's cool, you wernt the first. I could have done a better job of seperatin' them. Thanx for the props. I love doin this kinda research stuff.highplainsgriz said:So you did! My bad. I didn't read the list as comprehensively as I thought. My apologies, and again, great information. Thanks.
Sorry I didn't respond to this last year when you asked it. Can't find anything on why he took the time off but I would guess that's a safe assumption. He also was an O line coach for the Lions from '50 to '65 but no mention anywhere of a military history which I do find odd.AZGrizFan said:Did Aldo Forte get drafted into the war?
