As I posted in late August after observing 2-3 practices, I thought Ah Yat looked more accurate in passing drills that Vidlak or any of the other QBs.
Still, I would red-shirt him this season and allow him to mature a bit physically. He is pretty slight in frame, and needs to put on some more weight and muscle to withstand the rigors of playing the QB position.

To add to this. At this point if he he gives UM as good or better production than McDowell, he should be getting the majority of the snaps. Might as well get him lots of experience as he has the chance to be a 4 year starter if he pans out. A multi-year starter is something UM has desperately lacked recently.

Well, if he's the clear #2 now, and getting meaningful in-game reps or "change of pace" reps, he could effectively be a FIVE year starter at this point... :lol:
