Same, all of us were at the Bobcat Griz game tonight. It is hilarious how that guy lives in all your heads and Mike hasn't posted on here in close to 3 years. I have met Brent but I don't hate him anywhere near the way Savage does. I am with AG he is right to defend his friends against the Missoula Rises troll.

Not one person posting on this internet-based, anonymous-fan, message board has impacted how I feel about Griz Athletics or the University of Montana. I love both and have for almost all my life.

The people posting mean, vulgar, or outright crappy content do not represent me, or the overwhelmingly vast majority of Griz fans. They are trolls, and they are everywhere on the internet.

I'm not "for or against" him/them or anyone else here. I mostly don't care - and I just simply scroll past the garbage.

As a Soldier I relied on the eGriz game-day threads to follow Griz games while deployed. At times, it was the only reliable place to follow games I could not see or watch. I like the recruiting threads, and I am thankful for people who provide the informed information there. The rest - :roll:

Your point is valid. He still steps in and goes on his rants in here periodically. Mostly, he's impotent but last night I saw the photo I shared floating around Facebook and, again, being used to represent the football culture/fans. Ignoring him is a good idea in general, but when his most ridiculous BS is made public, ignoring = condoning, IMO. If one idiot is loudly making himself the voice of the fanbase, not speaking out against it is giving a clear message that it's an accurate representation of the way "we" think. This is why Hauck and Haslam were forced to speak out against it from day one of Hauck's return. If saying "NO" to that kind of rhetoric and inviting others to add their voice is a problem, I don't mind creating it.

I agree. Free publicity so to speak. Giving him a voice on a venue the Missoulian will be glad to imply he is associated with. Meanwhile, the Missoula Rises thread gets the boot...because it's not football related I guess? Go figure.

I do not have Facebook so what photo are you talking about? Isn't this doing the same thing he did and what you are fighting against?
