Sorry but you guys are flat out wrong. Some dipshit fan, who probably never played football, gets up in your face and you punch them? Chase is in the wrong no doubt. On the flip side, the kid who ran the field and got into Chase's face should be banned for life from Washington Grizzly stadium.

Reading is hard in Dorf Nakota...

If you read, you might find you agree with everyone who posted. Seems everyone sides with your player

I think he means they're wrong about the players actions being justified.

I understand that the fan probably deserved it on its face. NDSU players have been known to keep composure and never let their emotions get the best of them. I didn't see what happened, but the best course of action is always to walk away in that situation. Never in my life have I seen an NDSU player punch a fan post game. Not once. He is in the wrong.

I dont want a player on my team who can't properly handle that situation. This is Montana, we believe in old school justice.

Yep, would say 90% the fans fault. Stupid student (I'd guess) in his face, was trying to taunt other NDSU fans and caught it on his chin. Totally deserved it IMO

The player (#25) made homo-phobic comments to the student.

This was a hate crime plain and simple. Will it be referred to the authorities? Don't bet on it. This is Missoula we're talking about. It's the Hate capital of the West.
Mods, please get rid of this clown.

The dude is an asshat. Let's see how much smack is talked when the Griz clean up ewooo. It's old douchebag...its old.

Personally, I would like to see more Griz fans punched by players of any team. You don't need a reason to punch hippies.
Ha downtown tonight was a great time with lots of ndsu fans who took the loss in stride and acted like champions. Several cat fans who were good natured and having fun. And a few guys decked in eagle gear that were compete doushes. Way to represent meth nation.

I really believe you that EAGS fans would drive to Missoula to hang out with griz and NDSU fans. Even on the night of your best win in years you can't seem to get over your obsession with the EAGS. Don't worry, on November 14th you will get your annual dose of the EAGS.

I agree that players need to keep their cool when taunted but everyone has a limit. If the pop on the chin was deserved then so be it. There are a few posters here who also deserve a slobberknocker now and again but apparently there is a back door at the Mo...

Ha ha to tell the truth I was surprised 25% of the ewu fan base was in town too. Kind of a shock to see. I did hear the guy who went on the field to signal commercial breaks was wearing an ewu hat, so maybe they were friends with that guy? But yeah, first time I have ever seen ewu fans dowtown proudly wearing their gear. Too bad they acted like bigsky33.

25 belongs at the Mo Club. Atlanta would show him a good time cause he is packin.

Seriously the NDSU people (fans) were mostly great. The bunch I visited with were very classy after such a painful loss. The young guy should be banned and of course #25 sdould face punishment for his evil deed although I might have done the same thing.

I heard Atlanta/Growler has been spending a lot of time at the range practicing.

He's ready for anything! ....as long as there's a clear path to a back exit of course.

Agree on both disciplinary actions... stupid + stupid= super stupid

Really?!?!?! Someone dipped their wings in stupid sauce. Your parade was back in June remember? This is August in case you forgot. Retire all the tie-dye tee's till then.

Seams your team come Saturday, September 5 has its own problems when you get beat by your own QB

Obsessed with me much, double-wide? Obvious that I am firmly entrenched in your head and own your sorry ass. Internet cut-n-paste is the best you got?

The guy who signals the TV timeouts on the field is Dan Mahoney from Butte.... he was a Big Sky Conference ref for many years. His family sits 2 rows in front of us in the NEZ. Certainly not an Eagle fan....
