The above statement from puzzledinmt is a typical CSU graduate quote. Most CSU graduates are arrogant, and have no idea what they are talking about. They just talk to hear themselves talk.
milehigriz, I don't know about you, but my sides are splitting. Aren't you glad you got out of bed to say that?
I take umbrage with your statement.
I attended CSU from 1957-1962, obtaining my degree in 1962. My two oldest brothers are graduates of CU. I also attended the University of Colorado from 1955-'57 & obviously am quite familiar with both CU & CSU. CU & MU are very similar in general atmosphere, while MSU & CSU are similar much in the same ways. I honestly believe my education at CSU was far superiior than that received at CU. Students at CU, like MU have an arrogance about them that is quite unsettling.
I owned a business here in Montana for 22 years and those MSU graduates & student interns who joined my firm all were outstanding colleagues with well developed & self-starting attitudes of work-productivity. MU grads who interviewed at my firm had "the world owes me a job" attitudes and none were ever hired. Off hand I would say that my impression is one of MSU doing a first rate job and MU serving up batches of arrogance pie!
milehighgriz, I'm not really good with hecklers, but a friend who is good with hecklers wrote something down for me. Oh, yeah, "Go screw yourself!"
