I thought the announcers did a really good job. It was clear they were kind of hoping USD would make it a game towards the end. I appreciated the the number and length of the commercial breaks, i.e. fewer and a lot shorter than when other networks broadcast. It was clear that they had a schedule to keep.

^^^Yeah, I was expecting the long commercial breaks like when on espn2, but barely had time to grab lunch from the kitchen.

Pretty awesome to get the exposure. Will be interesting to see the ratings.

I'm just glad we could still make out the town pump logo on the field, the jingle is so burned into my brain I hear it when shown the logo

I noticed the same thing, Grisly. WAY less commercials.

Perhaps they wanted to make sure it was over before the Heisman festivities started. If it's still on ESPN all disney properties.

The announcers said they attended the pre-game walkthrough and talked with Coach Hauck and players pre-game. Any random mention they made of their interactions with Griz team, coach, and location, cast UM in a favorable light. I think they genuinely liked their experience at Wa Griz and it came through on national TV. Can't buy or fake that. Go Griz.

I thought the broadcast crew did a good job. That said, we missed most of the 1st qtr because of some Who Gives a Crap Bowl game.

I like those commercials. Some of the best commercials on the ESPN+ app during Griz games. I may be biased because I think Brian Toone (Tooner) is a great guy.

Instead of 2:20 length TV timeouts before, the tv timeouts for yesterdays game was 1:50 in length. So half a minute shorter commercials.

I like those commercials. Some of the best commercials on the ESPN+ app during Griz games. I may be biased because I think Brian Toone (Tooner) is a great guy.

I also think Brian is a great guy. But since he is the only sponsor, it gets a bit repetitive. The only thing I like on repeat for game day are: Griz TD’s and cannon fire!

I really liked how they started the halftime by talking about our game and then went into the other quarterfinal games. They got to the Heisman eventually but it was later than I expected. Usually the espn games don’t even acknowledge the game they are at halftime for.

ABC coverage was great; announcers were good to listen to! Looking forward to ABC getting the call this week as well!
