I had the game on ESPN+ and didn’t miss any of the game. I do not have the advanced ESPN+ package but I do have a “cable provider” (Direct TV— streaming) with ESPN channels.

There are ways to view the ESPN/ABC games without an oldschool cable package. But you’re going to have to pay the piper.

I have ESPN+ in New Braunfels, TX but could not get the game down here. ESPN wouldn't let me go there. The game would be on my screen by not allow me to enter or start the stream.

Yeah, it was not available on ESPN+ unless you had a connected cable subscription. And I'm not dropping $80+/month to get "ESPNews." Who is that channel even for? People in airport bars on a long layover?

Filler programming that they can preempt anytime so they can use the channel to show the start of scheduled game when the previous game goes long on an ESPN/ABC channel. DirectTV 207. You get to know it well for CBB games.

Well this is a dumb enough hill that I'm willing to die on it. Gogriz.com said the game would be on ABC. ESPN said the game would be on ABC. I made the necessary purchases to get access to watch ABC. Turns out a bunch of the game was not on ABC.

If I had known in advance that the game would be on ESPN 8 "The Ocho" instead, then I would've come prepared with whatever subscriptions I needed to access that channel. Lesson learned. If I get a ticket to Brawl 2.0, I'll be prepared to drive to the Fargodome at the last minute because the ticket says "Bobcat Stadium" but it's entitled victimhood to expect that the game is actually going to take place there as advertised.

At least I have my drunk uncle rant for Christmas dinner prepared in advance now.

FYI, you can get the ESPN package for 30 a month that includes ESPN's line up. Mine is 29.95/month
 
The first three quarters went by so fast. It was crazy, the fourth quarter made up for them though.

I dump mine every year after the Griz are done playing. Im not interested in anything else, and I get the rest of the games on the big networks. I don't care about the Adam and Eve Cheek less Chaps bowl.

I don’t know what happened but I missed the first quarter.

1. I have ABC on our Spectrum cable.
2. I pay for ESPN plus.
3. When I went to the ESPN app for the first quarter it said something like “your package doesn’t include this”.

No idea what the heck more they wanted. Blood perhaps?

You need espn all access, I paid $30 (minus pro rated + remaining) for a month. Includes Disney, so my kids are excited.

Or if you pay for all the espn channels via Spectrum, can use that login on ESPN app for no additional cost.

I pay Spectrum a pound of flesh each month. No idea if that allows me all ESPN channels. Probably need to pay two pounds
