AA PLAYOFFS

Just my opinion here, but I believe that Bozeman will remain at or near the top of class AA football so long as Troy Purcell is their HC. That's one GREAT high school football coach!

1st down Glacier and add on a facemask penalty....Glacier can run it out now with 43 ticks...

Well that hardware from last year still feels good, if Butte had any type of D this year they would have had a shot at repeating.

Now would somebody PLEASE beat Bozeman!!!!

If this were college or pro, Arie would be forced to fire this defensive coordinator. Terrible all year. :(

Just my observation, but he's much more of a throwback QB. True pocket passer, STRONG arm, strong presence in the pocket, good under center, very smart, hard to sack because of his size and strength. He is accurate, and from what I've been told, at least in practice, he can make what NFL scouts term "all the necessary throws". He's certainly not the modern-day, dual-threat quarterback you see so much in college football, but he's not lead-footed either. He can move when he has to.

As far as being the guy, I have no clue. He's obviously only a year younger than Simis, so I imagine that will eventually be the battle. I know everybody is super high on Gus, and badly want him to be a starter because a lot of people want a Montana kid to be QB1, but from what I understand, Simis is next in line.

Last night was probably the worst game I have seen him play. But Bozeman really didn't open up the playbook either. At least 3 dropped passes too. His passes just weren't as crisp as they seem to be. They didn't have Gappmeyer, but the Sophomore replacement looks really good. Both backs are good.

Sentinel was inside the red zone 5 times without any points. Bozeman's defense played well there.

Really surprised by the Helena, Skyview game.

Glacier picks Cook off again on Butte's 16 for a pick 6....2 min to go....Glacier 62 48

I thought Cook was some super QB that was way too good for FCS...

He is a super QB. In fact, he just completed the GREATEST QB REGULAR SEASON IN MONTANA HISTORY! (All-Time Season Record holder for passing TDs and total yards)

Cook scoring 7 touchdowns against the #2 team in the state, in one playoff game, isn't too shabby either.

I watched the first half tonight at Legend...and saw him at Dad's Silver B induction against West this year. He's a big kid but gets pressured easy. When he wants to run though, he can do it pretty well for his size He passed for 301 and Butte had over 500 yards....but 3 turnovers killed them....2 were int's.

I was inducted into the Butte High Silver B's this year. Your dad must be stud! :thumb:
