I bet Liv Roberts of Wyoming, the Mountain West Conference POY (out of Missoula) and Jill Barta of Gonzaga, the West Coast Conference POY (out of Fairfield), would be pleased to hear that.
Maybe good o' "El Griz" should have been around and should have advised the likes of Andrea Lalum out of Bozeman, an All-PAC 10 HM for the Washington Huskies; Loree Payne out of Havre, a two-time All-PAC 10 for the same Washington Huskies, and Karen Deden, that led Washington to two PAC 10 titles and was an NCAA Tournament Regional MVP and is in the University of Washington Hall of Fame, as well as Mandy Close, out of Bozeman, a four year starter for Oregon State, that they too were but 99.9 % NAIA material.

The problem, most of the best ladies leave the state for other programs. The GRIZ need to recruit talent from out of state to replace the Montana ladies that we loose. Bringing in the high caliber of talent, from out of state, is hard to recruit.
Also, once again, injuries killed us this year. Seems like, when Stiles got hurt, the Ladies went downhill. They lost the depth that they needed to rotate like the men’s team.
