Lady Griz are just terrible on their 3 point defense today. Northern Colorado is 9 of 19 from 3. Of course it would help if they would call the moving screen that NC does about every other play.

Not sure what the deal is with Goligoski, been in for 13 minutes and has not taken a shot???

Man to man? She needs to recruit some athleticism before she can defend man to man. Same ole, same ole Lady Griz, recruit the best kids from Montana, and the inland NW and hope for a Big Sky tourney championship and a #16 seed.

Couldn't agree more. Way to much empasis on Montana kids on both the bobcat board and Griz boards. We are both Division I schools, and should act like it. Get the Montana kids If they qualify. Obviously Bobby H and Robin had that nack down to a T. But realisticly (statistically), Montana kids are 99.9% NAIA.

There are a lot more women than men in the state of Montana that can play at the Division I level. If the Lady Griz don't loose three starters they are right there with Idaho and Northern Colorado.

I bet Liv Roberts of Wyoming, the Mountain West Conference POY (out of Missoula) and Jill Barta of Gonzaga, the West Coast Conference POY (out of Fairfield), would be pleased to hear that.

Maybe good o' "El Griz" should have been around and should have advised the likes of Andrea Lalum out of Bozeman, an All-PAC 10 HM for the Washington Huskies; Loree Payne out of Havre, a two-time All-PAC 10 for the same Washington Huskies, and Karen Deden, that led Washington to two PAC 10 titles and was an NCAA Tournament Regional MVP and is in the University of Washington Hall of Fame, as well as Mandy Close, out of Bozeman, a four year starter for Oregon State, that they too were but 99.9 % NAIA material.

See if you will be singing the same tune in 3 years...injuries are a killer, and so can be emotions. The LG will be fine.

The problem, most of the best ladies leave the state for other programs. The GRIZ need to recruit talent from out of state to replace the Montana ladies that we loose. Bringing in the high caliber of talent, from out of state, is hard to recruit.
Also, once again, injuries killed us this year. Seems like, when Stiles got hurt, the Ladies went downhill. They lost the depth that they needed to rotate like the men’s team.

Dang, I get upset when I read how much talent we have in this state who goes out of state. Both the men and women high school players often get overlooked and we are always surprised to see another conference team with two or three Montana kids tearing us apart. Nevada has several Montana ladies on their team this year.

Loose = not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached.
"a loose tooth"

Lose = be deprived of or cease to have or retain (something).
"I've lost my appetite"

I’ve been beating that futile drum forever, Po.
Maybe if we put it in more relatable terms?

“The Bobcats always lose.”

“Bobcat girls are loose.”

A fact of life to consider in this challenge is what resources does Shannon have in her recruiting budget? Not a lot is discussed about this but I'd wager it is a significant factor.
