A little roster update

Oh, I agree with you, it does mean getting back to the chipper. I just don't think he ever meant it as being just one year. Even at our height, we were not in that game every year by any means.

I took RTD to mean making steps to get there, which we were very successfully doing until last year. Even Hauck talked about it being longer term plan when he said it. I remember a few years ago him saying that we were on track to his personal expectations.

Obviously everybody, Hauck included, admitted that last year fell short..

Look at these Hauck boy friends trying to spin this. Everyone knows that Hauck promised to RTD. Stop making yourself look like tools
I don’t care if he said it or not. Would you rather him say the team is going to be terrible?

I accompanied my son today for a round of golf at the Stock Farm. Couldn't play due to spinal surgery. He played with a member of the Griz 1995 NC team, who is a member of the Stock Farm. This former player, who knows many former and current players, says that Hauck's tough-guy attitude doesn't play well with today's players. I already knew that, having heard it from others, and I think most reasonable Griz fans know it too. But it was confirmed by someone who should know. The 2023 is make-or-break for Bobby.

Finally got a spine huh......

Seems to work for Saban. But hey, who knows.

In 2018 we were picked 4th in the media and 7th in the coaches poll. We finished tied for 6th.

In 2019 we were picked 5th in the media and 4th in the coaches poll. We finished tied for 3rd.

In 2021 we were picked 2nd in both the media and coaches polls. We finished tied for 3rd.

We all know about last season.

For FCS preseason polls, we were picked 24th in 2018, 25th in 2019, 9th in 2021, and 3rd in 2022.

Outside of the whole "RTD" stuff, I still don't know how these polls suggest Bobby specifically was setting expectations higher than he should have been, unless anyone has any quotes or soundbites suggesting otherwise.

I wasn't trying to stir any pot here...just trying to add to context regarding expectations vs reality.

You have to admit RTD was self inflicted, right?

I see nothing wrong with RTD.

That wasn't a Bama fan who called in; it was Turd and Long.

Short member fat boy third-string blocking dummy, as told by the REAL all conference Dartmouth DB, Mike Hannigan. Hoops is exposed......... in more ways than one according to an old girlfriend

Ask Hannigan who beat him out when he was a junior and I was a sophomore. Hannigan never started a game. Ask Hannigan who dated his wife before he did and who introduced her to him (Joel and I did). Ask him who helped bail him out of the Tijuana jail when he was in college, and whose family wired the money to us in San Diego. Mike is a great guy. So was his brother Tim. Both fraternity brothers of mine. Mike and I hung out a bit no when we both worked on Walk St. You are busted as a big liar on this one.

How much do you want to bet on this? How about $10,000?

Oh BS. I know multiple players on the current team and multiple parents. Every single one of those players like ls Bobby a lot.

Yeah, but your wife says you are still looking for enlargement. In the mean time, there's always the lawn boy

I love to watch you obsess when you know what people you thought were your buddies really think of you. Just like the Mo Club bar tenders and a few lawyers in town. You won't sleep for a week. Ha Ha Ha. Oh, how'd that gig on Walk Street go?

I love catching you in a blatant lie. Mike and I have been good friends for a long time. Are we betting $10,000 on this?

Wall St gig was great. Learned a lot. Made nice money. Had lots of fun. Played rugby there with my Dartmouth friend Paul Gigot. He’s the longtime editor of the Walk St Journal editorial board.

Jealous much? You couldn't get on the course at the Stock Farm with your entire net worth as collateral. Of course, that wouldn't buy a double-wide.

Look at the dip sticks who liked your post. All of them football hacks, with a cumulative football IQ of a Little Grizzly coach. Social media mavens.

Hey I played there recently because I know someone who got me on, does that make me cool like you?

I just liked it so I could join the Little Griz Coach Social Media Havens football hacks club.

I see nothing wrong with RTD.

I don't either, I think it's a great concept. However, unfortunately for Bobby he threw that out there and got everyone excited and it hasn't happened yet after several years. Or, do you think dominance means a 6th place finish in the Big Sky? I think Monte is dominating the mascot challenge..... maybe that's what Bobby meant? The griz certainly have not dominated anything whatsoever since Bobby came back. If I'm wrong, point out what they are dominating today.

No amount of "ackshually, I don't care" is gonna help you beat the obsessed allegations.

As Elrod says, a quick rise to no. 6 and no. 6 in years 2 and 3, and then blip to no. 14. Due mostly to a few losses doe to injured qb. Playoff and playoff wins in each of those 3 years. People who try to elevate conference losses to playoff teams over playoff wins are football idiots. I have zero concern.
