A cat fan attends a Griz playoff game, cuz those shitsticks are sitting at home again….
…..and then he talks shit about it.
Open mouth, insert foot.

One of my over-the-top Griz fan co-workers just called the UCA coach to heckle him about this. (He did the same thing to that Villanova coach in 2008, if any of you remember that guy).
He called the number listed on their website. A gal in the athletic department answered the phone laughing because she saw the area code.
She said it is the 5 or 6th call they have received, and yes, he confused UM and MSU. He was basing it off what he heard about the 2011 playoff games.

Hey, but at least they still have Monte, which is nice.
As for this thread, I find it troubling that a fan would try to contact that coach in order to correct him on his mistake of confusing the loudness of the Montana State\montana stadiums. And then to hear that multiple fans called in? That's weird.

Wasn't the loudest but sure louder than the bobcats playoff crowd last year.

When the stands are full of yellow t-shirts, it can actually cause seizures.
The "piss yellow rush" is usually a halftime routine, but I'm not sure why that particular moment is celebrated

UCA coach Steve Campbell as his team prepares to come to Bozeman: “From what I understand, nothing can prepare you for Montana State’s crowd,” Campbell said. “I’ve heard they’ve got an outstanding student section and fan base that is tremendously loud. You’d like to think Texas Tech (capacity: 65,000) prepared us, but from what I understand, you can’t really prepare. I’m not being sarcastic at all. I’ve heard that Montana State really turn out and make a tremendous amount of noise.”

Well, well, well... It looks like MSU is starting to figure it out. I remember it wasn't long ago that some fans would be making noise while the cats were on offense. It's great that cat fans are starting to build up a reputation. This is a good thing for your program! :thumb:
But we're still louder.![]()
