A Little Mid-Week Humor

The pin-drops throughout the 4th quarter last year were deafening, not to mention the pounding of boots on concrete.

Just like WaGriz in 2010, and 2012? Just sayin.....

Remind me again how loud your playoff game was?

:coffee:

Ahhh yes... Quiet and in an effort to keep it that way, old wind bags were telling me to sit down and be quiet.

Don't tell me wa grz is still loud. It isn't.

Just sayin'

Carry on

I dunno. Being -6 at kickoff cut the crowd down to about 2/3 of capacity. But I will take a crack at it: Louder than the one in Bozeman?

Wasn't the loudest but sure louder than the bobcats playoff crowd last year.

Oh the irony.

A cat fan attends a Griz playoff game, cuz those shitsticks are sitting at home again….
…..and then he talks shit about it.

Open mouth, insert foot.

Hey, but at least they still have Monte, which is nice.

As for this thread, I find it troubling that a fan would try to contact that coach in order to correct him on his mistake of confusing the loudness of the Montana State\montana stadiums. And then to hear that multiple fans called in? That's weird.

You guys will get a kick out of this.

One of my over-the-top Griz fan co-workers just called the UCA coach to heckle him about this. (He did the same thing to that Villanova coach in 2008, if any of you remember that guy).

He called the number listed on their website. A gal in the athletic department answered the phone laughing because she saw the area code.

She said it is the 5 or 6th call they have received, and yes, he confused UM and MSU. He was basing it off what he heard about the 2011 playoff games.

:) hahahah, you've just been trolled!

Well, I can certainly understand how you'd find it weird that a team has multiple fans....

When the stands are full of yellow t-shirts, it can actually cause seizures.

Good thing it's been dark the last 3 years. I don't get it either. The thing is the GOLD rush and the school colors and blue and GOLD. Not sure why the shirts are piss yellow. The "piss yellow rush" is usually a halftime routine, but I'm not sure why that particular moment is celebrated. Oh well, I'll let someone else worry about it.

UCA coach Steve Campbell as his team prepares to come to Bozeman: “From what I understand, nothing can prepare you for Montana State’s crowd,” Campbell said. “I’ve heard they’ve got an outstanding student section and fan base that is tremendously loud. You’d like to think Texas Tech (capacity: 65,000) prepared us, but from what I understand, you can’t really prepare. I’m not being sarcastic at all. I’ve heard that Montana State really turn out and make a tremendous amount of noise.”

Well, well, well... It looks like MSU is starting to figure it out. I remember it wasn't long ago that some fans would be making noise while the cats were on offense. It's great that cat fans are starting to build up a reputation. This is a good thing for your program! :thumb:

But we're still louder. :coffee:

Funny you should mention the noise on offense....

Cats get down to the 5 and the stupid announcer calls for noise. Total WTF moment. Good thing better sense prevailed.

Cool story bro. The real humor is that multiple griz fans would call to "correct" him. I'm sure Everett was one of the first.... and the second.... and third...
