I think one of your ex LBs posted a tweet that sums it all up. Jr beak nose had his stats artificially inflated to stroke daddy’s ego. It’s all good though. Happy for him that he can take to his final days, knowing it’s all BS. Horrible burden to carry. But he’s tough you all say so there’s that.

I’d add that it most definitely goes into the record book as a tackle.

I have no clue what you’re talking about, and I suppose that proves my point. Many of the most rabid Griz followers are Bubbies.
Here you go jackwagon. It’s a tweet from Jace Lewis. You can find it very easily on X.

@danteolson25 broke the UM all time tackling record in 2 1/2 years without anyone going back after every game changing his stats, he still has it IMO. Never started over Pac 12/SEC transfers as a freshman. Never got anything handed to him. Worked for everything he got. A real one

I had no idea. Man, your dedication to the Griz is impressive.

Oh little bro you’re so pathetic. The fact that almost a quarter of the posts in a thread on a GRIZ message board about an EX Griz player getting married are from scat(which means s h I t if you didn’t know) fans shows just how obsessed you are with Griz football. I bet you can’t find five posts in all of litter box nation over the last two weeks from Griz fans. You know why? Cus we don’t give a F U C K about you. Go ahead and prove me wrong, I’ll wait. FYI, I’m not really waiting cus I know you can’t count to five anyway.

All you have to do is look at the team records for each of these individuals in their respective years to understand that one was a team player and the other was in it for himself...

He’s not even on the team anymore, and he coaches for a different team. Why do you think about him so much?

Records with an Asterisk *

It kills you that he tackled more people than Troy, doesn't it?

Not at all, one’s playing on Sundays, the other got a favor from a friend to sit in the press box…

Yes, like 98.8% of college football players, Robbie Hauck did not go to the NFL. Is that supposed to be an insult to him?

He is out striving to achieve his dream, and just got engaged. Congrats to him. Seems like a good life he is building....

It's amazing how personal cat fans make this rivalry to the point where they start hating individual players that they've never met.

Y'all are so weird.

Right? Now if he was posting racist stuff or getting his third DUI then maybe I could see it...

They’d drool over such a thing.

Let's just say this: Robby Hauck is MAYBE 5'10" and 175 lbs., and yet he's the greatest tackler in the history of the Big Sky conference. You may not like that, you may think he was chippy, you may think his stats are inflated...doesn't matter. He's still tougher and football smarter than you ever dreamt of being, and he was completely fearless and repeatedly threw his body into tackles against much bigger players despite his small physical stature. The vast majority of you keyboard jockeys who rank on him couldn't handle a small handful of the 482 tackles he amassed. Get over yourselves.

Congrats to Robby, and here's hoping for many happy decades together for him and his young lady.

lol. You brought up the whole comparison thing. I simply answered your question. Don’t get butthurt with me, Elrod.

Just strange the all time tackle leader didn’t even have a pro day.

Only if you define playing as making a quarter of your starts.

Troy starts in 5 games of 17 for ATL, at end of 2022, hurts ankle in Pittsburgh game and out 2nd half, misses 12.5 games of 17 total and .5 of 5.
Troy starts 2 games of 17 in 2023 for ATL, missed game 2 with concussion, on IR for shoulder injury (surgery) in game 3 and out for season, misses 15.5 of 17 games total.

Since becoming a starter he has missed 16 out of 22 games. I root for the guy in the pros but he is showing the lack of durability he had at msDuI. I wish the best for Troy but I fear he is a nephew of humpty dumpty, and might well consider hanging it up after he's put back together again.

Don't recall RH having durability issues.

Yeah I don’t recall RH in the NFL either. Good point.

Wonderful kid, wasted draft pick. He’s a china doll. Just like college.

Well said. :thumb:

I wish some of these people who hate on Robby would go educate themselves on some football ... specifically, the 3-3-5 defense. There are a ton of blogs, YouTubes and even DVDs about the 3-3-5 (and its many variations). You know, football is tough, but for the X's and O's, "it ain't rocket science." In many, if not most, variations, there will be one safety (antiquated term, but still with us) whose primary responsibility is run defense. This is not just a Bobbie/Robby Hauck thing ... it's how defensive coaches define the players' assignments in the 3-3-5. This designated "safety" still has to be versatile enough to cover receivers (often the TE is his guy). But his main job is to be ready to slice down and make the stop after the 3-3 has occupied the blockers on a running play. Again, not a Hauck thing, but just how the system is supposed to work. What looks like the occasional "blown assignment" may be someone else's boo-boo, or just the normal downside of asking your players to do so much.

Turns out, Robby Hauck proved to be really, really good in that role. So let's remember and celebrate his career with the Griz ... and wish him the absolute best in this new phase of his life.

He got ridden like a rented mule by Choat and Vigen. Kid didn't stand a chance. He'd already used up his body by the time he graduated college. This result was VEEEERY predictable.

I swear, this SNL character is what I think of when Bubbies post here:

Oh, there is no butt hurt. I've developed a soft spot for you, sometimes even when you are trolling.

And yea, nobody (including Robbie) thought that he was going to the NFL. He reached his ceiling, and should be super proud of that. My point was that almost no players make it to the NFL, as a percentage. There is no shame in that.
