Naccarato is 2nd string slot WR. Also CJ Nelson 2nd string corner splitting time, they rotate him and Dennard. Is Crittenden an rs frosh?
Yeah Crittenden is a rs frosh. THat is so many freshman that are going to be playing. I love it.
In a spot where I can pull up the roster, here's who I've seen either play or get serious looks at the 2-deep who are frosh or RS frosh.
Ellis Henderson (could start or split at X/Z WR)
JR Nelson (backup corner)
Chase Nacarrato (backup slot WR)
Tyrone Holmes (backup DE)
Hayden Craig (backup TE)
Caleb Kidder (backup DE)
Taylor Walcott (backup X/Z WR)
Max Kelly (moved up to #2 RT)
Clint LaRowe (backup LT)
Nate Harris (starting CB)
Chris Lider (kicker)
Harrison Greenberg (kicker)
Connor Lebsock (backup S)
Addison Owen (backup OLB)
Gavin Hagfors (backup TE)
Jesse Ginn (backup DT)
Adam Brzczeck (backup QB / possible starting QB)
Samson Kalekini (backup RG)
Derek Crittenden (split start / backup DE)
Johnathon Richards (backup OLB - has been bumped back with Owen returning though)
Trent McKinney (starting QB)
Ashcan Richards (backup TE)
Stephen Shaw (punter)
John Schmaing (currently 1st string LT until Poole returns, will go to backup after that)
So you're talking a lot of long-term development with this group. The only real starters that'll come out of this will be the special teams guys, Shaw and Lider or Greenberg, the starting QB which will be Trent or Adam (or both), and Nate Harris. There's guys also that will play a big factor and rotate in a lot like Henderson, Owen, Crittenden, Ginn, Kidder, and Holmes. The rest will probably contribute but might ease into the season as they'e backing up fairly well entrenched players.
