#7 Montana @ Cal Poly Game Thread

I'm done. Can't watch this team implode anymore. Thank you Mick and staff for helping keep this program from sinking after the Phlu firing, but it is very clear that a holding action is the only thing you are capable of. New blood is needed to bring this program back to the prominence that it was once at. We have the players, just not the coaches. I'm done giving Mick and the group the benefit of the doubt.

Sac State smoked the Griz several years ago & Griz bounced back the rest of the year. Let's shoot for that again & not say this is a death sentence.

No, no it was not. Honestly, who the hell cares though. The refs in BSC play this year have been terrible. Couple that with the Grizzly coaching staffs play calling, lack of creativity and inability to coach special teams - what you have right their is a sh%t storm. Hopefully this will be the last season of this dementia laden craziness and the Griz can get back to being serious about moving the program forward. I believe there were other things going on this game. Possibly wondering if apple sauce should have lumps in it or do depends really fit comfortably? God knows there was no thought of football in the second half. The Grizzlies have now become truly mediocre with phenomenal athletes.
 
Very disappointing game. I expected a tough game but I never expected this kind of performance. And worse, this may not be the last time we see this kind of score this season. It is what it is.
 
In honor of all time GRIZ great Michael Ray Richardson, "The ship be sinking".

Seriously, how can anyone with an open mind say the GRIZ have a winning playoff caliber head coach and offensive coaches? We beat average to bad teams. This staff is proving time and time again, it does not beat winning playoff caliber to borderline playoff caliber teams.
 
All in all we looked like isht...definitely over rated defense and a vanilla offense.

From here we go 2-2 with wins against sac state and msu. Congrats to cal poly. They are very good.
 
This game was about execution, not coaching. Much like the NDSU game, the opposition doesn't do anything fancy, they do simple things and execute them to perfection.

The season is not over. It would have been great to win this game, but o-well. We pick ourselves up, dust off, and focus for Sac State. It is still entirely reasonable to think that we could win out. That would put us at 8-3 with big wins over MSU and EWU. I haven't given up, the GRIZ sure as hell won't, and neither should GRIZ nation.

GO GRIZ. Bring on Sac State.
 
I know that many have said this before, but, our offense is poorly conceived for our personnel.
All we got right now is a JJ scramble and a long ball that requires, and often gets, a great catch.
