You are assuming he feels pressure.I thought he liked pressure and iron sharpens iron. Does that not apply to coaches now? Vigen has a title now and Bobby does not. Time to put up or shut up.

BH will be here another 4 years - until he is 65.Writings on the wall, he doesn't give a crap about the future, this will be his last year and now you know why Green left after all these years to take a position coach job at WSU.
If he’s not feeling anything at this point I think that would be a bigger problem. You are assuming he feels pressure.
If he doesn't, he should. You are assuming he feels pressure.
Why should he? His legacy has already been solidified as a solid coach. Vigen is still creating his legacy. If he doesn't, he should.
If he's happy with being a "solid" coach and nothing more, then fine. But he hasn't lived up to his own expectations for himself and his team. It's been discussed ad nauseam, but when the goals are to beat the cats, win the conference championship, and win the national championship, and he isn't meeting those goals but Vigen is, then I contend that he SHOULD feel pressure. Why should he? He can be unhappy with the status quo and is actively trying to fix it while also not feeling external pressure. If he's happy with being a "solid" coach and nothing more, then fine. If he's seriously happy with status quo and feels no pressure to do better, then he should retire. I contend that he DOES know he needs to do better, and hence does feel the pressure, I'm just not sure that he knows how or what to change to actually get to the next level.
You are acting like he is a .500 coach. If he's happy with being a "solid" coach and nothing more, then fine. But he hasn't lived up to his own expectations for himself and his team. Right... Griz went 13-2.... 1 game from the championship, 2 years ago was in the championship. People out here acting like hes never won a gameYou are acting like he is a .500 coach.
Less than .500 against the once lowly BobcatsYou are acting like he is a .500 coach.
I don't think it's the fact that Bobby wins that is in question. His teams win a lot of games, and that's great. I love watching the Griz win. I love watching the Griz make the playoffs pretty much every year. What I don't like is the OTHER fact that he can't get the job done when it matters most.Right... Griz went 13-2.... 1 game from the championship, 2 years ago was in the championship. People out here acting like hes never won a game
And that is all that matters apparently.Less than .500 against the once lowly Bobcats
Is simply being better than .500 one of his stated goals? I am only judging him based on his own stated goals for his team's performance. You are acting like he is a .500 coach.
That still doesn't equate to just "solid" in my book.Is simply being better than .500 one of his stated goals? I am only judging him based on his own stated goals for his team's performance.
This discussion is now moot anyway. That still doesn't equate to just "solid" in my book.
If Hauck was just "solid" then UM has had 95%+ less than solid head coaches. This discussion is now moot anyway.
He was a very good coach and did some great things for the program, and I wish him well. I hope he gets lots of fishing time in.
He's resigned. I'm not going to endlessly debate his legacy. I'm more concerned about the team going forward. If Hauck was just "solid" then UM has had 95%+ less than solid head coaches.
I hope Kennedy is just a solid coach at minimum...He's resigned. I'm not going to endlessly debate his legacy. I'm more concerned about the team going forward.
apparently I was wrong...he retired before the end of the year. But what I had heard about his "lame duck" behaviors from good sources seems pretty accurate now. So maybe now you all is well guys can take a break for months...it wasn't all going just peachyGood point!
