2025 Transfer Thread/ Portal Offers-- (31) Transfers to UM

John Locke-just got an Oklahoma offer yesterday doubt he’s coming
Sean Persson- no idea
Andrew Taddeo- Several FBS offers doubt he’s coming
Fernandez- who knows what the wait is
Bailey- I think this guy may be a silent commit but who knows
Claypool- Also I think is a silent commit
I agree about Bailey and Claypool. I think there's enough tell tale signs out there that they both very well could be silent commits. Been thinking that for days now, and they'd both be big additions.

Still somewhat concerned about our lack of DT/DE players, last year showed we need to be ALOT better at generating pressure/disruption on the LoS
I think the time to be concerned about it is in July before camp starts. There's so much time between now and then to find guys to fill those spots. We don't have to have them all right now. Hell, there are still 2 weeks until classes start, and I believe they can still enroll up to a week after that.

Agreed! The earlier we can get guys and acclimated to the program, the better. How many guys are going to show up in July and make an impact in September? Seems optimistic

Hard to argue that more time in the program equates to success. Having said that, if they are ballers I don’t care when they show up. Need some guys with chips on their shoulders that will be leaders. I didn’t think the defense had an identity this year. The offense didn’t either now that I think about it. Hope they get some experienced players who take the reins.

Me too. Agree on all points, based on some things I've heard in offseason. You'd think there would be interest in virtually all position groups on D and receiver, given the losses to graduation, Portal, etc. Fairly open spots, which is not to say there's not remaining and younger talent there too. But there aren't starters.

Have you guys played organized sports? Team cohesion! It’s so critical. There seems to be the attitude of being content on here. Some of us want to win! Some of us want to smash the Cats and win it all.

The best pure passer we've had. No one else close. Started as a freshman at BYU.
This. I will never forget a sunny afternoon in September 1999 when Miller just shredded Weber State. Final score: UM 81 WSU 22. One of the most fun games, ever, a terrific performance by Miller.

Super Dave and Ochs were great, but Miller could flat out sling it better. He had a gun for an arm.

I have seen or heard no one content, and of course that starts with the coaching staff and players. I'm highly encouraged by whats taken place thus far in this off season.

I played 3 sports in high school, football for 4 years in college, 1 year of college lacrosse, and some rugby each of my 4 years in college. I then played rugby until I was in my 50's. So, yes, I have played organized sports. How about you? What's your resume? I'd guess my experience, competitiveness, and desire and ability to win are a lot higher than yours. Not sure what your point is. Competition and winning includes a lot more than team cohesion. Attitude of being content? What's that coming from?

I’m not sure when I said that competition and winning included….whatever the fuck you said. I’ve played sports my whole life. Played on some great teams and also played on some shit teams. I’m speaking from experience. You’re a punk bitch, so I laugh at you being anything “higher than mine”.
