They finished 2nd to last in the big 12, which was not an overly strong conference this year. Hopefully he is getting paid, because otherwise this is a bit of a head scratcher

Arizona gets good exposure against high profile teams and they probably have a good NIL wallet. Arizona has some dudes that are NFL bound next year including a WR that’s going top 10-15 in the draft. If Wilson wants to get a crack at playing pro ball, his prospects are exponentially higher at Arizona than the Griz.

Quick google search shows that Eastern Illinois runs a similar 3-3-5 defensive scheme. Should be a seamless transition for the kid
