Might be if they treated him right.
 
Coaches at the new schools often/usually contact the coaches at the prior school too. Sometimes the coach connections are personal friends and probably exchange candid information. I once had a coach friend tell me, when I asked how the transfer was doing, that the transfer was doing pretty much what the prior coordinator had said he would do.

Bobby is trying and all he is getting is shit from posters on Egriz. Give Hauck some credit, he recognized a shortcoming and hes trying to fix it. I support his decision. I really dont understand why more posters can't see Ah Yats talent.

He couldn't lead a single scoring drive against the WORST Big Sky Defense for an entire half, that for me was the tipping point. Not trying to rag on the kid but he overall didn't play well this season.

He has had some flashes of being good, however the vast majority of those have been when he has taken off or running the ball. His passing ability leaves alot to be desired, why as of now I have little excitement or confidence in him going forward. I hope he proves me wrong but until he does it's not going to change.
 
I wonder why players never say what really is making them enter the portal....be refreshing to read...truth....First and foremost I hated my prior coaches and was sick of trying to carry my hopeless teammates who stunk up the field week after week therefore I am getting the hell out this shit hole of a town while the getting is good...oh and screw you family for those cheap ass gifts I get every christmas........therefore I am looking for some greener pastures....

Maybe I’m mistaken, but it seems like you’re implying the prior coordinator had something negative to say about the transfer. If so, why did the coaches take him? Just curious if they thought they could coach it out of him, or something different.

I think he's saying coaches of teams he could be going to, or that are considering offering him would call our coaches to talk about him.
