Ability to take over games.

I am highly impressed with the student athletes that the Griz are offering (and making headway with).

Many highly touted players, with the grades and character to match.

I hope you are right intuitive, many of these kids seem like total long shots to me but can’t get them if you don’t offer.

Jayden Stanley is really good. His teammate is garnering a little attention.

I hear ya for sure.

For example, this one from his head coach: But the offers so far have been from MWC and BSC, no schools the Griz haven't beaten a recruit for yet. I just hope after a standout SR year, the PAC 12 don't swoop him up.

It's a perfect time for the GRIZ to go after a player the caliber of Holloway. Right now, the GRIZ have Akem and Toure as SR's. Each of them have 1st Team All American potential and talent. Each of them have legitimate NFL chances, if they stay healthy. This offense will be centered around them and Knight. If healthy, I won't be surprised if Akem and Toure go down as the best GRIZ WR duo in GRIZ history. I honestly believe, both can get over 1200 receiving yards and 10+ TD's. Big seasons from both of them, could propel each into the NFL.

To me, that would be 1 hell of a selling point. Combine that with a football crazy community, top notch facilities and TRUE playoff format, we can compete for the likes of Holloway.

You're speaking my language, mtgrizrule!!

Holloway would be making the best decision of his life if he chooses Montana. 4 year starter, with huge production and fan adorarion, for sure!

The kid is so fast and tough that it would hard to tackle him in a phone booth.

Ball Hawking/Thumping FS... sounds (and looks) GOOD TO ME.

I could watch Stanley play all day long.

New Twitter Offer:

DE/DT- Evan Branch-Haynes 6' 3" (Sacred Heart Cathedral HS) Richmond, CA (3 Star) (T 6/4)

Oh a times they are a changin'

Under the title "The virus that changed coach Hauck"

Hauck and company are very big on face to face contact with players and getting to know them . They also really long for the recruit to come to a camp at UM, I think it was about 75% of the signees during Hauck part 2 went to a UM camp and stayed at the campus before they got offered

Enter the virus...

No camps and very little actual contact with recruits.

Right now we have a list of 34 known offers, I'd bet there are 10 to 15 others. This is by far the most we have had during Hauck part 2... It has obviously changed the recruiting approach.

I also think they are reaching out to more longshots. I think its a great idea, shooters, shoot. Players want a great football program, but parents want their kids safe. Less than 525 cases in Montana looks really good to parents.

Oh yes times they are a changin'

We've offered 3 players named Jadyn, all spelled differently:
QB Jaden Jones
WR/DB Jayden Stanley
DB Jaiden Brown

Not sure why it caught my eye, but it did.
Hope we get 'em all.

Two reasons: one, kids like Jace Klucewich, Dylan Rollins, Kenneth Eiden have all gone to out of state camps. That's all it takes. That's how Jesse Sims got such big time offers too.

The other reason is this class of Montana seniors are much better than they have been in recent years. There's double digit full ride kids and half a dozen are FBS caliber guys.

I thought the PAC 12 would for sure swoop in and steal Toure and that didn't happen...hopefully we can strike gold twice!!!
