Might be a push and pull between those two about that. I thought UNI was going to be a no-brainer as a night game, but I'm guessing BH will NOT want that game to be a night game. There will be some games though that he may not have a choice, as there will be a couple of situations where the Griz and Cats are both at home, and if both games are on SWX one will be an early start and one a later start. So I think we'll see a similar schedule to last year. 4-5 games on Root, mostly 1 p.m. start times, and an SWX game or two with a 1 p.m. start time, and a couple SWX or Eleven Sports games with a 3-5 p.m. start time.

Root games are not necessarily 1 PM starts; they avoid conflicts with Mariner games and other higher priority offerings.George Ferguson said:We didn't have lights when BH was here last. That Valpo opener last season was akin to sitting in a blast furnace. Many left by half

I had a lady in her 80's collapse on the walking path right behind my tailgate party, called campus security to help. I sent a note in after to Kent Haslam and others suggesting any game in early Sept be considered for a late afternoon start, that was miserable that day.

He hated night games then but since at UNLV and SDSU I'd venture more than half of their games were nighly... UNLV's probably almost all at night when at home.
I kind of liked the mid-afternoon starts as we get into the fall.

In one of his pressers since being hired, he was asked how much he got to watch the Griz during his time away. He said ALOT because the MWC plays almost all their games at night, and he said "I ahted all those night games, nobody likes them, the coaches don't and the players don't."
