Well if that's the case then it looks to be Marcus Welnel, the OLB from Helena Capital. That is if you base it off recent twitter activity from Marcus.

His senior highlight film and this little clip on his twitter page show he is just as good as his junior season...maybe better.

In my opinion, Luke is the best QB recruit out of Montana this year (yes better than Nate Dick, Tanner Wilson, Callahan O'Reilly, and Bryson Deming) but both in-state schools have stocked up at that position. However, Luke is getting recruited as an athlete and he is a pretty good free safety. Could also be a natural WR in college. I just think as a QB, he has all the tools and he is a natural thrower. Will be interesting to see where he goes. According to a Skyline Sports article a few weeks ago, he has heavy interest from MSU and UM (which surprise me because the family is heavy Griz supporters) but no solid offer. UND and a potential walk-on spot at Texas Tech is still a possibility. Assuming it will come down to the visits in January since he hasn't announced anything yet. Should be a national story with what he went through this year.

He recently visited Yale as well.
But would he play football again?
His parents were worried the college coaches would lose interest.
Rather, it was the opposite. Their son received almost daily notes from the coaching staffs at UM, MSU, UND and Texas Tech. Breitbach was also a constant pillar of support from Day One.
“Dave Breitbach has been great through the whole thing,” said Charles. “The support from the college coaches has been awesome.”
Luke never doubted his recovery.
“I kept telling the coaches I would be OK,” he said.
Hey Vim, sorry to highjack your post here but I have a question and I figure you might know the answer. I've asked a couple of times on differ threads if anyone knows what Carson Kings situation is. No one really seems to know for sure and I was hoping since you follow Montanas high school athletics so closely, maybe you'll know. I know he was supposed to return from his mission in Oct and Delaney was still gonna honor his commitment. Do you know if he still plans on playing football and if so, where? Will Stitt still honor his schollies? Thanks.VimSince03 said:G-BEARS said:VimSince03 said:If there is an argument out there that Luke isn't the same athlete post-cancer (still incredible how quickly he bounced back), that argument would be incorrect. That was post-surgery but could still be an option. MSU, UM, UND, and Texas Tech (walk-on) are the four he will likely choose from, according to an excerpt from a Billings Gazette article:

Just rewatched his high school highlights. Great downhill linebacker against the run. Just sticks people.

dayday said:Looking at twitter it looks like the Griz think of McGinnis as a WR. So maybe someone that has watched him play can say whether they'd prefer him there or FS?
Also I am beginning to think Holt will end up playing the DL instead of OL like Kyle reported now that we are getting OL in this class. Defensive coaches have started following him. Maybe it's wishful thinking but I'd prefer him to play on that side of the ball instead of OL.

His best shot at ever playing for the Griz is on the defensive line.
