Did Cook end up anywhere?

Yep. FBS all the way...

Oh wait... How about NAIA, after he takes a year off to concentrate on school. Younger brother is at Northern.

Will be interesting as Tech has 2 pretty good QB's there for the next 2 years, at least.

Pretty funny how he turned down a Griz scholarship (in HS) saying he will never play college fb in Montana.

An awesome article on Baker's Luke Gonsioroski. He just beat cancer and is one of the top MT recruits. He sounds like a great kid with an amazing perspective. I hope the pictures I've seen of him in Griz gear are a good sign for us. He is being recruited by the Griz, the cats, UND, and Texas Tech.

Heavy Griz family so my expectation is he will choose the Griz. Really good prospect at either QB or Safety. Secondary positions could also be WR or OLB. But like Hashley and Andersen, the rivals school's staff has put up a good impression and made the choice tougher. UND has been in on the race since the beginning as well. UND is also after Keaton Anderson, Casey Cole, Braydon Deming, and Luke.

Hey Vim. What all do you use for your ratings? Personal observations and stat accumulation? MaxPreps? Hudl? NCSA? Just wondering. It's good whatever it is.

Of course I'm a Butte Homer but I'd rachet Kiley Caprara on up the list a ways. He was getting time and doing well as a soph but got hurt early. Last year Butte struggled with Cook injured in first game but Caprara kicked asss at the Griz 7/7 camp this spring. We will see but I project him to do some good this year as a receiver, corner, return guy and long snapper.

Caprara a legit receiver...if he has a QB who can get him the ball. From what I saw last year and so far this year, Butte High does not have a legit passing QB who can consistently deliver the football. This fact is gonna hurt Caprara and their other receivers in my opinion.

Video, personal observation, measurables, what coaches say, what fans say (take with a grain of salt at times), productivity (especially at the B & C levels) and off-season accolades. When I talk about productivity at the B & C levels, they need to dominate. Nearly every great FCS player who has came from the B or C ranks has been a dominant player at that level with the exception of maybe Kazz Sewing out of Malta (he came from a run-heavy team that his brother Kazz quarterbacked).

Kiley is your classic smallish slot receiver. Definitely has a knack for catching the rock and getting open. He is just a bit too small in my opinion yet.

But this is what this thread is all about guys. Please keep talking. Maybe about a kid who is too high, too low, or not even on the list. I have about 130 more kids who didn't even make the list. Discussion is good!

BHS definitely took a kick to balls last year losing Dylan Cook and senior backup Paul Campbell in the first half of the first game. Sophomores had to Q the rest of the season. I think they will be pretty fair this year at QB.

He did the Griz a favor.

I hope you're right. I always cheer for Butte schools, both BHS and BC. I'm just not as optimistic about their QB position. I hope I am proven wrong.
