With all the people UM puts in the NFL, a chance to play A LOT OF FOOTBALL (4 yrs), along with UM's Pac-12 atmosphere, I could absolutely see this 3-star DB becoming a Griz.

Sam Akem is the 110 M hurdles champ in OK. For you aficionados of T & F, I don't have any times, wind aided or otherwise. Just looking forward to the first time this kid catches one over his shoulder and cruises to the NEZ. Or the SEZ, or any EZ for that matter.

I am thrilled for Samuel Akem. He won the 2016 6A championship in 14.47. The runner-up ran 14.71.

Last season in 2015, when Akem finished 6th at state, I thought it would be interesting to see how he would do in 2016.

Going to fun watching this athletic kid running wild in the WA GRIZ.
