I will bet the house right now that Tyree Range is never a Montana Grizzly.
Unfortunately i think your right. That animal looks like he could play in the SEC.
Never have I hoped more to be 100% wrong... :|

You never know. He is in Justin Green's neck of the woods. He can be persuasive and has proven to be an excellent asset for this team.

Good point....and sometimes early love is the best love....we shall see. :thumb:

I'm just gonna have blind faith that Tyree will follow through on his commitment and become a Griz. It's a great place to play, he'll get more playing time early in his career, and there will be just as much opportunity, if not more, to play on Sundays.

You'll look damn good in maroon and silver, Mr. Range! :thumb:

Tyree Range through 2 games:

30att-263yds 8.8yds per att 4td

Didn't get the stats for his 3rd game, but they won 54-10. Odds are he put up some numbers in that game too. #8 team in San Diego.

for everyone knocking on this kid for being 5'11 should watch this. kids a beast

All I know is that two non-tall QBs are the only ones to have won National Championships at Montana. So bring this kid in, he does look like a beast!

Update on Willy Pflug

QB Willy Pflug (Sunset): The Montana commit is considered the most mechanically-sound quarterback in the Oregon crop of signal-callers, which explains his offer sheet despite a less-than-ideal 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame.

Pflug may not the most physically gifted prospect, but his quiet leadership and commitment to detail has made him one of the state's top talents.

Sunset is 1-1 on the season, but Pflug has more than done his part. The senior has thrown for 680 yards with six touchdowns and run for another score.

OK... so I usually take the "wait and see" approach to recruiting classes....

But WOW, this looks AWESOME so far!

Did the coaches tell them we are moving up to the MWC and we need more talent to compete at that level? They can be the class to take Montana to the next level. How are we hooking this kind of talent?

He is the nephew of former Griz linebacker, David Sirmon. David played from 1993-1996. David also had three other brothers play college football, including Peter who played at Oregon and then went on to play for the Titans in the NFL. David is now coaching linebackers at USC. This is a seriously talented family and I believe they all played linebacker.

I continue to be extremely impressed by this talented and growing class. It is certainly unlike any class of early commits we have ever seen.

Other than a very impressive TE transfer for next year's class, I haven't heard anything about MSU's class of 2015. Does anybody have any information on their commits - maybe they have none public yet? Thanks.

Yup

Cy’s father John was a record setting d end for the Vandals back in the late eighties and early nineties. As most know his uncle and current USC LB coach Peter Sirmon is one of the best players to ever come out of Washington state. The 8 year NFL vet and former Oregon Duck is one of the most respected coaches in the college game.

Add to this both of his grandparents and all 5 uncles played college ball, while his cousin Jacob (6-2 185) is one of the top 8th grade QB’s in the west. All of this plays into what Cy brings to the table as football runs deep within the family.
