Weber St has 2 kids in the class of 2018 that have already signed letters of intent. Whats with that? Crazy stuff.

That's not true or even possible....No one can sign a letter of intent until the November of their senior year....they may have 2 verbals but that is all they can have is verbals for the class of 2018....

Verbal commits shows them as having signed their letters of intent. In fact one of the recruits has a picture of him signing at some kind of event.

Those 2 kids are both graduating in the class of 2016 but they are mission kids so they won't be at Weber until 2018....that is how they do that but you have to be Mormon to qualify....so they didn't sign until November of their senior years in high school, as I said...find a mission kid and you can play too....

Maybe we can be like BYU & have a bunch of balding 25 year olds nut punchers on the squad. Dirty dirty dirty...

Well jeez man sorry to offend you. I have never seen them classify Mormon commits like that

Rayquan Evans at Billings Skyview. He's only a Junior this year. Put him on the get-list.

I have been high on him since watching him at the GRIZ team camp his FR year. He would be quite a get if the GRIZ can do it. His father is a former GRIZ, so that will help. :thumb:

Hahaha. My kid played him this summer in a AA mini camp/tourney. Apparently the Sophomore to be didn't know Evans was a big deal. Although Evans had hit a couple threes and dunked once or twice already. The kid gets in the game, Evans drives the lane, the kid gets up and blocks his shot! However, Evans catches the block in mid air and shoots it back in as a fadeaway. Dammit!

He talked with Montana's coaches after the Boise State game. Obviously if it was a visit, it was unofficial as a recruit can't take any of his five visits until his senior season

Just read a story about this kid's HS team where it's stated Montana is recruiting him. Article states: Nevada has offered a scholarship. North Dakota, Montana & Loyola Marymount are also recruiting him. Here's a link to the article, recruiting remark is about 2/3 down.

I believe he was in the house for the Griz-Cat game. He didn't play all that much vs Butte the night before. Just threw down an alley oop dunk. And then kind of coasted. They didn't need him that night. The kid is good.

Nice little write up about Alphonso Anderson & Garfield winning the state title. Also a quick mention of future teammates Bobby Moorehead & Ahmad Rorie in there.

I love the pic of him going to the hole through two guys---can't wait---damn we are going to be good.

Hey I thing DeJong is going to be our guy, good hands, quick feet and big wing span.

Montana's other 3-star recruit -- Sayeed Pridgett -- had a good weekend as well, leading his El Cerrito team to the Northern California North Coast Division Two title with 34 points.

Upon further review, Garfield finished 3rd at state. The headline was a bit misleading.
