2013 Out of State UM Football Viewing Options

But most Griz fans wouldn't want that anyway I guess.

I'd say it's a stretch to say "most". But those who don't want it -- and there are many -- are very vocal.

That may be true, but those FCS diehards make it SEEM like most Griz fans wouldn't want to be in the MWC. They would miss the playoffs in FCS too much, is what I meant.

I have DirecTv and have never missed a game. I have it at home and at a vacation spot. They have all kinds of mobile options as well - you can have DirecTv at your tailgate party if you want. You have to pay for it, but that's the story of life. I set the satellite and receiver up at the vacation spot, so I can give some technical advice there if you want.

This thread really makes me glad that USU is in the Mountain West now. I got CBS Sports Network as part of my cable package and I will be watching more USU games here in the midwest than I have ever been able to see before.

I wish it was the Griz instead of San Jose State that came with us to the MWC. But most Griz fans wouldn't want that anyway I guess.

This one would. :|

Hell yeah. Same here.

It only took 19 posts to turn this into a move up thread. Nice work gents.

Crunch, when I buy one of these thing -- and I'm damn close -- what exactly are your hourly rates to come to my house, order the shit I need, install it, and get it pointed at the right floating comet-thingy?

Mind you, I'm not big on esthetics (my wife may differ); I don't care if there's wires running through the middle of my master bath, as long as I can see a Griz game. Note, I'm happy to pay all travel expenses and a very generous per diem. And, of course, all beer (which, as Ursa pointed out above appears to be significant) is on me.

In other words: Damn you're good.

POTY nominee!

I have a Viewsat receiver. My first setup took a few hours because I didn't know how to properly program a signal search. Now it takes me about 30 minutes. I have a couple secrets for finding true south. If you can do that, the rest goes pretty fast.

Ursa said a 2-six pack job--based upon my experience with the whole FTA thing over the last decade or so, I'd be banking on a full case and YES I am offering my meager satellite knowledge/experience to assist and, of course, pitching in for the brewskies :)
