Outplayed again this week. Pulled it out of our ars again. No way we are the #12 team in FCS. Maybe top 24 team. Still a long way to go and need to take care of business next saturday.

This.
Game is over and the Griz lucked out to get the W. Time to focus on South Dakota.

man......that is cutting it close for having it in the bag...........being the number 12th rank team in country.....i bet sac state still can't believe that!
just when we thought we had the upper edge on the coaches....fooled us again

Yea, and MSU - being the #5 team in the country struggling against UNC is not great either.

Good game guys. Would not have hated my coach for going for two at the end of reg...

Thanks Kadeezy! Sorry you took some crap from one of our worst posters here. You're a class act and good luck with the rest of the season!!

This Griz D is very undisciplined and are getting worse at tackling as the year goes on.....hope it gets better,

Yes... there are ZERO excuses for the circus keystone cops tackling these past two weeks. Some nice hits... but every play rally and breakdown and tackle.

Bad defense by Hermanson again. I espect my starting safety to knock that down. I applaud Sac for going for 2. This is their best-chance to win.
I didn't think that was bad coverage actually, he tipped the ball the guy just made a great play on it

It wasn't bad coverage, I agree. A big-time Safety makes that play though. Hermanson and Tully are, typically, "just good-enough". They make the basic plays, but don't change games. Hermanson DID make one big-play today, but he also had couple mis-tackles which has plagued him. I give him props for that one big play. He had one other nice hit,who spun off him for another 3 yards, but when the game is on the line, do you really trust him/them? I don't. They are no Hauck, or McElmurry, or Todd Erickson or Colt Anderson or Schillinger. They aren't even a Goichecheax2 or Lebsockx2. It's been a glaring hole in our defense for 3 years since Colt left. All the previously mentioned quality 9 Safeties were Montana natives. I don't care where we find one, but has there really been no good Safeties in Montana for 4 years? I don't watch hs, so I have no idea.

I might keep the DVR this game to show my young boys how not to tackle. And yes I never played the game.
cept for Hermey. He was in Colt mode today! I won't miss tully when he's gone.

you got that right......the colt tapes will serve you better for pure fundamentals..you don't have to play the game to know that.

I never saw Colt whiff on a tackle like I saw hermanson whiff on the qb on that first qb run in the fourth quarter....in fact I've never seen anyone whiff that bad....other than that, solid game.

plus you will very rarely, if ever, see colt tackling at the shoulders as the runner is coming towards him. when that happened today, sure hermey made the tackle but the runner right through him for a couple of more yards.....not a drop dead tackle as he was in position to make...imo.

I don't know. He provides a nice cool breeze for opposing receivers as they run through his whiffs...
