Well, that sucked.

It always sucks to lose, especially when you might have won. We put up over 500 yards of offense (more than EWU, actually), mostly passing -- neither team got to a hundred yards rushing.

So, while it's not much consolation ... I'm going to be happy that the Griz had the guts and determination to get as close as 7 after being down by 23 halfway thru the 3rd quarter. (Yes, I know EWU scored one more late FG ... but so what?)

I don't disagree with anything you posted. Didn't say a word about the refs. I said EWU played well and got some good breaks. I'm not sure what the debate is.

UM has still not won on the red field..and still not beaten a ranked team in years and next year will either be the same story with this staff or a new staff for the players to adjust to....Hard to maintain a golden egg if the roosters don't allow it...

Totally disagree... These players keep it close with the complete inept coaching they are receiving. Give them coaches that will tailor their philosophies to the strength of their personnel, and this team could be great. Even with the oline problems. These coaches are incredibly stubborn. As a Chargers fan, I feel like I'm reliving the Norv Turner days. Beyond frustrating.

I don't know if I totally agree with that. I think we have good talent but certainly not dominating talent. We had the second best QB on the field today. We had the second best receivers on the field today. Lost of overthrown balls and dropped passes. Our special teams play gave up a TD. Our O line certainly is not the best in the league, or maybe even this game. Many missed tackles. I am certainly not defending this coaching staff as I have stated....it is time for a change of direction. But it is not ALL on the coaches. Players must execute. However, even some of that can lay at the feet of the coaches.

Ranked team?? We haven't beaten a single playoff-caliber team during the entire Delaney era. In fact, beyond last year's Cat game, when have we beat a team where we weren't the favorite?

Lol... There are many legitimate criticisms of the this Griz team, but defensive speed is not one of them. We have the fastest group of LBs and DE's in the conference and I wouldn't say it's even close.
