10000 tickets remain?

Exactly. Shit pond stadium was rocking that day and I would expect them to draw more fans than us for today's game.

Likely last home game for these seniors.

If you go on Bobcat Nation, they're complaining about the same thing. Cheer up.It's fucking game day!

Stadium will be about half full friends. 7k unclaimed season tickets. Weather on the east side has been shit this year. SC is coming to town and since we have missed the playoffs so much...planning from families is poor. Just keep winning and we will get there. Just keep winning.

Side note: MSU is also down about 4K tickets this week. Montana will probably have 15k or so. MSU will have around the same

Wished I could be at the game. Got to work. However, I did fly to Montana for the GRiZ cat game and had a great time. I will be at the local GRiZ bar, cheering on the team. We have a couple of representatives from our group attending the game.
We can get this one!
GO GRIZ :!:

I’m just now heading out the door. Two things have stood out to me:

1. Missoula should be ashamed of itself. Don’t bitch about the economic shortfall if you can’t support it.

2. I’ve said it all week..the cat beat down stymied the enthusiasm of the Weber win. Hauck’ s comments resignated and it shows. Had we won that game Griz Nation would be on fire right now. But not even competing was a straw that broke the camels back. I’m a fan and wouldn’t miss this game and hope to hell we knock the snot out of southeastern louisiana but the cat game hurts...

Go Griz!

Kennesaw St. and Monmouth win today.... Griz host two more on the way to Frisco!

I agree. One thing I will add which may affect student attendance: finals week starts today. Not like the good old days when finals week started on Mondays ( I havn't figured out class schedules since the U went from quarters to semesters).

Interstate is dry all the way from Billings. No excuse not to be there other a few season ticket holders I know are starting to head south for the winter. That is a problem with The aging of the season ticket holders

Two letters....T.V

Warmed a bit, but this morning was pretty chilly. Wind died down as well. Not as cold as preferred. Hopefully will be loud. Plenty of out town Griz fans In the hotel I stayed at last night. Website does not look like there is 10k open seats. Maybe I just can’t count past 100? Go Griz
Edit: I take that back. It gets worse every time I check for an update!!

Spot on. The term demographic contraction applies to our aging fan base. Our state is aging many indeed opting for comforts of available home viewing. The ‘younger crowd’ simply does not have the passion our older base grew up with. My kids friends are fairly ambivalent about sports in general. I’ve been doing Griz sports since early 70’s and continue to do it live at wa Griz and Adams. Go Griz.

Agreed about the younger generation. I blame their parents.

My kids tried about every sport played in these parts. Gymnastics, swimming, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, martial arts. The only one they stuck with was martial arts where my daughter is a second degree black belt in tae kwan do and a blue belt I think in judo. Once they got into high school they got so busy that they quit going. I think there are a lot more options for activities than there were when I was a kid. Plus we are raising a generation of kids who have extremely well developed thumbs.
