Real shame you got stood up again this year. Might be the B.O. smell running through the city of Missoula. We will never know! Oh well, glad they established they’d rather be in Bozeman than Missoula.
The river hasn't stank in 30 years, dingus. The paper mill is long gone too. Stay ignorant, my guy

Exactly. For bubs, it’s all about being seen. Most are transplants and not true Montanas, and they embrace the Yellowstone movie culture and the damage it’s doing to our great state. I don’t want Missoula getting trampled by trash, and if it did, I certainly would not go around bragging about it'68griz said:I never watch Game Day, so I really don't care where they go. Sure you did lil bro.
This! As soon as he said it I was impressed. All this means is that the team’s focus is where it should be, the current game. He barely got past PSU and was being asked about a Montana tradition that he has very little frame of reference for. He will get his taste this week. I am stoked to see if he has the mocy that he is starting to show. Go Griz!Paytonlives said:I for one am glad that our starting QB looks at it as just another game
They picked Bozeman because it represents Disney and ESPN very well, neither of which represent Montana for me. If it does you, cool.CatsRback said:Stop_HammerTime69 said:The river hasn't stank in 30 years, dingus. The paper mill is long gone too. Stay ignorant, my guy
Don’t blame us CGD picked a favorite. Be better and maybe they’ll show.

Bozeman is the town that least represents Montana in so many ways. In fact, very few that live there that I have interacted with over the last five years have not spent time anywhere outside of a 50 mile radius from Bozeman. This simply means they do very little for Montana as a whole and are just a part of the Bozeman elite sub-culture. Many of my Bobcat friends that don’t live there don’t like this fact.

A book by Butte's Pat Kearney has a story on every game from 1897 thru 2003. Lots of cool stories.
I kind of like Kearney's name.....and the pretty ugly Trophy Rock they've made as permanent trophy is on the Divide.
GO GRIZ!!

You're missing out if you like CFB. It's usually a really great show with insight into local stuff and unique stories in college towns, etc. That, and analysis of the big FBS matchups. I rarely have time to watch all the games I want to watch, so it's a pretty cool show to keep up on what's happening.

I am usually busy early and seldom see any games before noon.

Got it. I'm the opposite. I can really only watch CFB coverage early (CGD starts at 6am where I am) before I run around with kids' sports. If you've truly never ever watched it, it might be worth a shot to DVR it once and watch it later to see if it's something you enjoy.

I quite honestly am rarely interested in what is happening in FBS. There are a couple teams I follow, but that's it. Even when it' s an FCS game on one of the ESPN channels, the announcers can't wait to talk about FBS teams rather than the game in front if them. I find it very frustrating and thus CHOOSE not to watch Game Day and similar shows.
