Predicting the Big Sky ESPN games 3 weeks out

Some fun facts about this years selection:

- 5 regular season games is the most ever for the Big Sky and 8 teams will be the most featured ever.
- At least 2 games (maybe 3) will air on ESPN. These will be the first Big Sky regular season conference games ever aired on ESPN.
-Idaho State and Cal Poly will make their Big Sky on ESPN debuts this season. Neither one of them had ever been chosen for a game up to this point. This leaves only Northern Colorado and Portland State as the only non-newcomers to never be featured in an ESPN game.
-Eastern will be featured for the first time since 2021. A lengthy layoff for them.
-UC Davis has made many appearances on ESPN, but this will be their first home game to be broadcasted.
-The Kibbie Dome will be featured for the first time since 2023.
-The cats and Idaho will both be featured twice this season Each team will get one home and one away game, and they will face each other on Friday Night on ESPN.
-Both Friday night games will be televised on ESPN. Saturday night games will be televised on ESPN2 (unless UM-ISU is upgraded to ESPN).

I'm really surprised that Montana only got one game on an ESPN Network vs Montana State with two, but I guess when you go win the national championship, it's not that much of a surprise they got two.

a night game in the middle of november? espn obviously knows that football games in freezing or bad weather sells, especially with a stadium full of people.

We got 2 last year. Probably gonna be an every other year thing. I was surprised that they didn't take Griz @ Davis though considering that's probably the second best game after the Brawl in conference this year.
Who negotiates how many games the Griz get on TV, with the brand the Griz have why can’t they get a package of games on CW or something similar.

Outside the games negotiated by the conference, there is nothing stopping them from doing this...except the CW actually wanting the Griz.
I haven't really paid attention to many televised games outside of ESPN+ and the Big Sky. And I don't have cable anymore. But have the USA network and the CW been doing games for a while or is this their first year?

CW has been doing games the past several years. USA got back in the game with the new PAC12 last season.

Mainly because we always have great TV numbers when compared to other Big Sky schools which makes us more valuable to ESPN.
Yes the TV numbers were great last season especially during the playoffs. In today's media rights/revenue generation, with Griz brand strong why can't we get we more games off ESPN Plus and shown on CW for example. Is this the BSC conference or the AD Dept responsible for getting us more exposure/revenue.

Same with the brawl, someone said Scripts TV has the rights, could be a money making opportunity if done right.

The conference is responsible. And they suck at it (much in the same way they suck at everything).
