Can anyone tell me when the last time Dartmouth beat a team as good as last season's Griz team?
Quite honestly, does it matter? Can anyone tell me when the last time Dartmouth beat a team as good as last season's Griz team?
Dartmouth would not have probably beat the Griz you are correct. But the Ivy League is way better than you are giving them credit for. The non athletic scholarship thing does not matter. Students that are from the middle class or below can get huge financial assistance at the Ivies. And if they are borderline on getting admitted and if they are good athletes that helps get them in. Those schools take athletics seriously. If a kid is offered from say the Griz or Dartmouth do you think that would be a tough choice? With the opportunities that graduating from an Ivy League school could offer? Also even though they don't add players from the portal very few leave (some left after they graduated with all the Covid stuff..etc). And like the military academies they are full of smart, hard working and disciplined kids. I would say if you look at this years Griz schedule Dartmouth is probably better than maybe 6 or more teams on Griz schedule (Southern Utah, Drake, Utah Tech, Northern Colorado, Northern Arizona,Portland State and maybe even Idaho State and EWU). If you watched the two games Yale played they were very good. Darmouth beat Yale and New Hampshire who was also an FCS playoff team. Can anyone tell me when the last time Dartmouth beat a team as good as last season's Griz team?
