New Turf x Montana Knife Company

It looks really good! Not too drastic of a change from the current field, but I love the outline around the Grizzly Bear. Really makes it pop. I too am not wild about on field sponsors, but I get it in today’s world of College Football. That said, I think they did a great job choosing MKC, especially since their logo has the Montana outline and it really fits! Excited to see it in person this season!

Well I guess that really goes to show they are overpriced knives if they can afford new turf for UM.....
Expensive yes and certainly not for everyone! Overpriced no... an investment for anyone who cooks a lot and a value to someone who wants a lifetime tool they use on a regular basis is well worth the investment.

While I'm not a big fan of corporate logos all over the field this one at least integrates well with its state of Montana outline and color scheme plus it keeps me from looking at a Town Pump logo all game (nothing against Town Pump) ...

Thanks for supporting the Griz!

The amount of msu fans I’ve seen advocating a boycott his products and bitching about the price of his knives is comical. Thought all you guys/gals had high paying STEM degrees where a $500 knife is equivalent to a few billable hours. I’m certain any Bozeman boycott will be more than offset by UM supporters.

Anybody know who reached out to MKC to make the ask? Kent, Greg, Learfield representative? Or did they have to ask to be a donor, which would not be a surprise.

That is the absolute definition of pety. Not that any bozo's are from Montana anymore but to boycott a Montana product because they pay for advertising from the rival is low, even for scats.

When Wheat Montana sponsored the Missoula Rape video a few years ago, I quit buying their bread. All I can say is FTC!

Please expand on this. What is the Msla rape video and how was it sponsored? Was it aired on tv?
Dean Folkvord, former owner of Wheat Montana, self proclaimed song writer and current Montana Board of Regents member, penned lyrics to and stared in the YouTube video C.A.T.S. Which he sang to the tune of Y.M.C.A. One the lines he wrote said “no means no, at our school”.

He's making that up. I have seen noone say that. There's a thread on BN where everyone talks about being jealous of the partnership. Noone saying boycott.

Oh yes, I remember now.
