Taco Dowler mocking BK

Each who participated in the concerted effort to destroy evidence and hinder a criminal investigation. Which ended up being most of the staff.

Not to mention the one driving drunk who caused excessive property damage. But I assumed that was obvious
With respect, from someone with knowledge in the space, your assertions are inaccurate and teeter on the edge…

Yes. But only after they proved they sucked at coaching football; and certainly not after they were proven to be felons and given pay raises.

I think the meat of it is that they were both renewed and one given a raise for their efforts. Anything goes in Boze. It really makes one wonder if a current coach with the same performance got a DUI but didn’t get a raise, would he have a claim against the university? If it was just a garden variety DUI with no Switcheroo, would the university use that as a defense saying the Switcheroo made the difference in the raise decision?

Admittedly, I'm not overly well-versed in the criminal codes in Montana. Charges and penalties obviously vary by jurisdiction, but in many states, destroying evidence to interfere with an investigation can be charged as a felony, and includes significant penalties including prison time and large fines.

But in either case, are you actually trying to justify any of this???

It is the Vigen Way and has been talked about on podcasts and in interviews. The only thing that matters is winning football games. All the illegal $h!t is swept under the rug and hidden in darkness never to see the light of day.
Could the university’s actions have arisen from any other motivation? Perhaps those you are attributing blame to acted on advice of counsel. Something to think about.

Absolutely not, but I do think accuracy is important. On these topics, my goal has always been to prompt people to think carefully about what they’re posting. It’s probably a fruitless endeavor. 🤣 And I shouldn’t really care.

So you're saying someone at the school is definitely to blame, eGriz is just focusing on the wrong pile of scat?

What assertions are inaccurate? A Montana State University Bobcats football coach, Taylor Housewright, was driving drunk. Based on the location, it would be fair to assume he was at a party of some sort. He crashed and caused property damage while driving drunk in a car belonging to Montana State University, paid for by the people of Montana. He then called another coach, Same Mix, who was willing to come help him hide evidence in the middle of the night. The coach then got the DUI anyway.

A second Montana State University Bobcats coach, Willie Mack Garza, was arrested for getting drunk and excessively speeding down main street going nearly double the speed limit. Because putting the public at risk is a fun way to celebrate beating the Griz.

Montana State University voluntarily gave those coaches contract renewals after their DUI's.

What is inaccurate and teetering on the edge?

I can't speak for the bobs here, but I'm guessing that since waded made some calls to her buds at the DA's office and both issues were shamefully swept under the rug using the WAAC polices at msu, they're claiming we're incorrect in calling the incidences criminal.

As for what msu did following the crimes, I have absolutely no idea, because that was indefensible.

Is that what Everett posted, or did he say “most of the staff” was “proven to be felons”?

With all due respect hog, as you're a decent poster. But this is the response of a guy who has absolutely no defense for what transpired. Just admit they all should have gone to jail, they all should have been immediately fired, and the WACC approach at msu to give them raises was truly stunning in its ridiculousness.

Then we can all be done here.

This is exactly what happened. And all those associated with MSdUi including the Coaches, AD, and Pres did all they could to sweep it under the rug. Then media all in Bozeman and any media covering football pretended it didn’t happen and didn’t ask any tough questions around it. They helped MSdUi make it go away as quickly as possible. It was almost incredible to watch but the media has always been scared in Bozeman to rock the boat.

Pretty sure you'll never be done with this story Everett. And as often as you've written it......it's WAAC.....or is that a new conference you think griz should get in?
