Arizona and Montana both have extreme weather. One extreme you deal with by only being outside in the afternoon if it involves being in a pool and doing your other outdoor activities in the morning or evening. The other extreme you can’t go outside at any point day or night without covering every inch of your body with heavy clothes that will immediately feel too hot and cause people to start sweating as soon as they step inside.

Working in a climate controlled office is certainly better than outside in any extreme climate. The good thing about working from a climate controlled office in a hot climate is that you are inside said office with AC during the blistering hot afternoon hours Monday-Friday anyway and the times outside of work hours are still manageable to be outside.

You weren’t being sarcastic? Being a roofer in Arizona, where it is over 100 degrees for 1/3 of the afternoons throughout the year sounds objectively horrible.

My brother lives down there, and for years he was an electrician for a construction company so he was always out in the sun working on new builds. I couldn't believe how dark he would get. He loved it, too. Always said that your body adjusts to being out in the heat pretty quickly.
