Brock Purdy

I totally get it, being a top 3 Griz head coach with the most wins is on par with the excellence of Stitt. I can see their heads side by side on the Mount Rushmore of Griz head football coaches.

echos in your head, maybe. unless you want to blame hauck's lousy seasons and inability to beat the bobs on him.
I could say the exact same about Delaney, Pflugrad and Hauck 1.0, which are also very much true, but I'm guessing you wouldn't piss your pants crying over that.

I understand the guy kind of got a raw deal, but I don't get why people on here continue to die on the Stitt hill when he was objectively the worst coach we've had in the last 40 years.

Did he get a raw deal though? He underperformed for what UM is and got fired.

There were a lot of competing forces working against him before and during the 2017 season that made any potential extension much harder than it would have been without them, and by all accounts that season was somewhat of a step in the right direction, but you're right, he deserved to be fired regardless of Hauck's specter looming over him.

All that says is UM has been an elite program for the past 40 years that 60% is the worst winning percentage of any coach since 1986.
