Brock Purdy

That doesn't make them the same. This is why I believe you often show that you don't understand the game of football.
You are showing that you don’t understand football or the English language. It’s understandable due to the dementia. I never said they were the same, I said they were the same fundamentally and philosophically but how it was played out on the field was different because they had different personnel. Mike Leach had elite qb and wr talent whereas Stitt for most of his career had a bunch of engineers who knew they weren’t playing football after college.

He was our head coach for 3 whole seasons and his influence and failures still echo today.
Legendary. Perhaps that outcropping of rock on the northwest corner of Mt. Sentinel could be chiseled into UMs own version of Mt. Rushmore. Stitt's face could be one of the initial figures.

Both were the result of them no longer being the head coach at UM and Both were shown the door by MSU.
I would argue that an offense that scored 35 points per game, over 300 yards passing and over 450 total yards per game in 2017 was not the reason why Bob Stitt was not given a long term extension, rather the defense was not up to the standard after Gregorak left in 2016 and 2017.

Yeah, that's certainly one way to describe what happened lmao
Hell I’ve always defended Stitt, but even I know that those stats are meaningless….score 60 on Little Sisters of the Poor, score 16 against Northern Colorado. Sure, AVERAGES look great, but any defense with a pulse could stop that offense.

Nope. What I said is completely correct. You don't understand the game of football. Your above is another stupid post. Again, your comment about the other's guy's post was wrong and your reason for it was even dumber. You don't even go to games. You have no clue about Griz football these days. You have grown up with dementia, and that's why our football posts are so off base.

Not getting in the playoffs and not beating the Cats was the big problem. Stitt ran off Gregorak.

I’m going to the Kentucky Derby tomorrow. You never go to events like that instead you go to Northern Colorado and Portland State football games.

Not a loser. Never did or got closer to steroids. No man books.

You are the loser. Don't understand football. Don't go to Griz games. Are still in love with Stitt. You are all google, but don't even know how to make right request. Loser, loser. All the good egriz posters know this about you.

I have gone to Kentucky Derby. FBS national championship games. FBS semi-final games. A few Super Bowls. A few World Series championships, including game 6 of Yankees over Dodgers 1977, when Reggie hit 3 HR's. Three Rugby World Cup's. HK 7's rugby tourney 5 times.

You have gone to about nothing. You have boy boops. You have never lifted weights in your life.

Stitt's offenses were good, but he could sure recruit great receivers: Akem, Toure, JLM, Mitch Roberts, Sulser, and more. If only he could put together a half decent defense.

He did have a decent defense under Gregorak but it went down after Gregorak went to Bozeman.

echos in your head, maybe. unless you want to blame hauck's lousy seasons and inability to beat the bobs on him.
Hauck had one lousy season. Yes, I blame some of the time it took to restore the program, on Stitt and the Stitt years, as well as on the firing of Pflugrad. And I don’t view one close loss and one bigger loss to the national champs as some incredible failure of the team or the coach.
