MSU champs has 0 NFL players

Where's their all-world DL? The guy who had almost no tackles or sacks, until he got a bunch of tackles in the national championship game. He was playing hurt during the season. He did pro day, or at least some parts of it.

Considering they beat us twice and the second one was what Bobby 2.0 would “call it an ass kicking”, I’m fine with not denigrating them for something so trivial. I’m happy for Mike and Kenzel, but didn’t help us beat them last year and won’t help us beat them this year.

I assume you are talking about Paul Brott. He only did the Bench at Pro Day, as he wasn't planning on going into the NFL (He said that multiple times). He Benched 32 reps (would have been 3rd most at NFL Combine).

Please say what everyone hopes he is planning on. Just do it.

Wrong Paul Brott…

Who cares?
Fact is, the Cats only lost 8 players!
Why are some of our GRIZ NATION fans so stubborn in acknowledging the Cats have officially arrived?

Unfortunately, barring injuries they're national title contenders. The GRIZ have to catch them. They're not falling back anytime soon.

I've been saying that for a few years now. Yet, some reason GRIZ fans just continue to think the Cats aren't the real deal.

This much is true. Hate the Cats and their fu#%ing fans, but rule is correct. That being said, I feel great about the new regime, and see the Griz competing their asses off this year!

If their qb gets hurt, Cats are toast.

He also had a weak senior season and was highly overrated.

Cats were fortunate to win the first game, and had they not cheap-shoted our best receiver and best TE in the second game, that game might have been different too. And the Cats are the luckiest team to ever win a national championship, as I have pointed out before (play by play). Some Cats have gotten big heads over this. Some Griz have lost their confidence. I am not one of them. The Cats deserve all the grief than any of us want to give them. My god, it's a huge rivalry. Lighten up. The second game had 2 bad short periods for the Griz, where the Griz let the Cats run wild for those periods of time. Ah Yat was a bit hurt so he couldn't run, which hurt the offense. The Grizzlies O should be better than the Cat O this year, if both teams are at full strength. Always a tough game in Bozeman, but it doesn't worry me and I can't imagine it will worry the Griz players or coaches either. Griz will roll.

Though I agree the first game was a toss up, and a win might have changed the season. Instead it’s 0-2 in 2025. That’s partly because they shoved it down our damn throat for the last 7 minutes of the first game. They broke the dam in the second game with that 4th and 19.

What’s the saying? “If ifs and buts were candy and nuts. Then we’d all have a merry Christmas.”

Also, just because I’m realistic about the results of 2025 doesn’t mean I’m down on 2026. We can be fans without wearing rose colored glasses all the time.😎

100.

I will say, though, that farrrrr too many cat fans believe the delta between the two teams is enormous, when in all honesty the GRIZ were a bad bounce to a wildly beaten defender away from hosting -- and very possibly winning -- the semi and the NC. Credit to the cats. They found a way, as good teams do. But to suggest as many of them are that there are light years between the programs is about as bub a thing as you can *do.

*Recall, they put player's mugs on portashitters and gave raises to assistants who drove drunk, caused property damage, lied to the police and destroyed evidence. So this is sayin' sumpin.

To hoops credit, the amount of crazy 4th downs they converted to win the 3 biggest games and other teams botching field goals or having blocks is an insane amount of luck.
