Most UFDAs sign 3-year deals at the league minimum, which was I believe is $885,000 this year.
The important number to know for Mike is whether he received a signing bonus, and for how much. If the difference between the 1.1 and 885 numbers is bonus, he did very well. Because recall, contracts in the NFL are not guaranteed, so if he's cut, all he would have would be the signing bonus.

I think Worthham will succeed due to hard work and his skills. I am excited for him! On another note, the same holds true for Junior Bergen with the 49'ers. He is off the practice squad (development). And, on the team roster for the 2026-27 season. Go get'em men !

I know my analysis of Michael Wortham isn't popular on eGriz, but... this is what he is facing. I don't believe he has a realistic shot at the 53 man roster. I know people will argue with me until the cows come home, but the fact is SIZE very much matters in the NFL.

You could very well be right, but won’t stop me from hoping that he turns into the next iteration of Julian Edelman who was all of 5’10” and 198 lbs. With a QB background, great football acumen and athleticism that gave Mike the shot that he has in front of him, I hope he makes waves.

Of course, size matters. It's one of many factors. But you said that he wasn't big enough to play in the NFL, and that's wrong. If he wasn't big enough to play in the NFL then he wouldn't have been signed. I'd take the view of the team that signed him over what your view is. And, making the 53-man roster is not the same as being in the NFL or making a team. The practice squad is also playing in the NFL.
