MBBALL 2026 Big Sky Conference Transfer Tracker (New and Improved 2026 Model!)

Ok well this is a good start! Mpiana redshirted at Pacific this past year but had amazing numbers in high school at Arrowhead Christian. He averaged 21ppg and 15.5rbp which is eye popping! He’s 6’9 which isn’t crazy tall, but that’s also DeCuire’s style. It doesn’t appear that he likes to rebound! I’m with DayLaw that I think we need one more big man! Good to have one in the boat and check that box off, but let’s get another now!

Sanders started his career at Central Michigan, but never played after getting a medical redshirt there. Provides some extra length and added depth. Upperclassman that can bring a veteran presence as well after two productive seasons at CSDH.

I think I would like another post like Goodman and I still think ball handling PG that can run an offense and break a press is what I would like to see with the last twoish spots.

I haven't watched his highlights or know much about him other than clicking his CSDH bio page but first thought when seeing that top image in the N7 jersey reminded me of Kareem Jamar (maybe similiar build or facial similarities, idk)...but def wouldn't mind if he played similar!
Definitely has the bigger frame like Jamar. Need another post, but this guy can take up room inside.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but NAU has one returning scholarship player and according to VC has not signed anybody so far. They must be holding out for the fifth year seniors and the zero cost guys from the portal. Definitely a late, complete rebuild going on in Flagstaff. I wouldn't want to be in coach Burchar's shoes right about now. Looks to me like they have a lot riding on the NCAA decisions.

Looks to me like everyone else in the BSC have brought in some good players. Better than most years.

The fact that Burcar still has a job is just baffling to me. He's been the worst coach in the league for a long time now and he still keeps getting the benefit of the doubt. I know NAU has had some turnover in the AD chair, but jesus somebody needs to step up and make a tough decision for once. For the most part they have a very strong athletic department, but Men's Basketball is by far the worst program in their department.

Now, it's looking like the NCAA will not grant exiting seniors another year, but apply the new age based rules to incoming freshmen only, or at least to players eligible in the fall of 2026. If they do the latter, then they will have to address the players who have already red shirted and what to do with medical issues.

My son goes to school there, and holy crap everyone knows the coach is not great. Too bad, because they do otherwise have a decent program.

Did I read that correctly? LoLo shot 51% from the free throw line? 😞
From what I read, his shooting stats were not good at all. He must be a really good defender, that's all I can think. If I'm the opposing coach, I would leave him wide open and worry about everyone else. I'd dare him to shoot.

We’ll see what they decide to do with the final roster spot, but here’s what I expect the lineup to look like right now:

1. Jordan Clark
2. Jalen Brown
3. Tyler Thompson
4. Kenyon Aguino
5. Clayton Mpiana
————————
6. Courtney Anderson
7. Amari Jedkins
8. Josiah Sanders
9. Connor Dick
10. Noah Bendinger

I like the starting 5 for sure. Anderson off the bench would be lethal IMO and I really think Jedkins will take on a much larger role. We know Dick is a scrappy player who should see increased minutes, and Sanders gives you a lengthier option in the event you need to go bigger. Get one more big guy and I’ll feel good about this team!
