2026 Griz Football Predictions

Given what’s coming back from last season, I’d say 3 losses or more would be a rather disappointing year. We have the squad to be a top 5 team wire to wire.
If the Griz can’t be top 5 in this watered down pile of burning dog sh@t fcs, cut the damn program, invest in hockey and women’s volleyball and call it good. Seriously!! Has the fcs gotten better over the last decade? I’d say no.

You are going to be a sad man more times than not.

If 701 can't make better posts than that, he should quit posting and "call it good". My view.
First time and last time I will probably agree with anything 701 has/will say, ..but he's not wrong on this..

Montana State is head and shoulders above everybody else and its not even a close second, then its a bunch of good teams with alot of unknowns playing for runner up. .FACT..

Wrong. Portland State, Long Beach City College, and DeVry-Omaha, in that order. They are head and shoulders above everyone else, and it’s not close. FACT.

(We can just say anything we want and say it’s FACT. Have fun with it!)

Hehehe….. Cowboy is butt hurt because nobody respects the mountain west. Believing the MWC is legit is like believing France has a strong military. Sheesh facts are stubborn things eh Cowboy?!

That sounds like a dangerous power.

That's why practically every eGrizzer is spending endless nights crying in their pillow wondering why the MWC conference won't extend an invite to the U. Of Montana?..

Enjoy playing those big future road games in the big sigh.at plaves like EWU, UNC, Southern Utah..not just a no, but a fuck no.

Aside of Playing at Montana State, playing other conference teams in front of 5,000 fans in glorified high school stadiums, yeah that's gotta be real fun..😂😂

Montana had 10 games at home in front of big crowds last season. The 4 regular season road games averaged about 10,000. And the 1 road playoff game against MSU had a good crowd. UM’s home game against MSU had higher attendance the MW championship game at Boise State.

I mean it’s not super surprising. I’d argue more people are invested in ‘The Brawl’ than are in the mw conf. championship just based on the fact the mw really wasn’t popping this year.

Really that something you're proud of the Big Sigh for...🤣10,000 people showed up for a football game..wow.

Three teams averaged over 10,000 fans for their home games

Five teams were under the 5,000 fans for their home games.

I was just refuting what you had said. You were dead wrong, as you usually are. No team UM played had under 5000 for the Griz game.

Obviously you are obsessed enough with Griz football to spend endless hours arguing with strangers online about it.

Your first paragraph is BS; no one is doing that. Montana would not accept an invite if it did come. The financial aspects of that have been well discussed here.

However, your other points are on. Road games for several of the conf games are not attractive for fans and can't be the best fun for the players. The BSC has members that don't try. After the defections to the PAC, the MWC is not so hot either.

He was talking about Montana's average attendance, we don't control the road attendance, but I dare say that the attendance average for Idaho State, Suck State, Weber and Portland State were less than what they had against Montana. 7,674 at Idaho State, 16,816 at Stingers Up Woody, 5,095 at Weber, 9,583 at PSU and as Hoops said, just under 10k average at 39,168 total, averaging 9,792.

27,340 for the Brawl and 22,277 at Bozeman (4K plus over their just under 18k capacity) can't be overlooked compared to 27,152 in Boise for the MW ch(u)mpionship. We are talking about teams in huge metropolitan areas.

That is something I am proud of!
