Did you even read my posts?I don’t think the Big Sky has been producing NBA caliber players. Money’s game would develop more against better competition in the Big 12.

Not totally sure that’s the case. Scouts always find guys. Dillon Jones went in the first round out of Weber not all that long ago. At several games this year scouts were in attendance to see Money. He needs to transfer to a high market team to get nba eyes on him. They just aren’t watching montana basketball.
Dillon Jones was a first round choice from Weber State. His contract was worth just shy of 14 million dollars. How many players have been drafted from the Big Sky in the past 5 seasons?
Also just watching the high ranking tourney teams not one of them would benefit from a guy like Money. Not totally sure that’s the case. Scouts always find guys. Ultimately though, if he’s seen as a fringe NBA prospect, his best opportunity to make money for him and his family might be for a P4 program next year. Whether or not that’s best for his basketball future would depend almost entirely on fit.
I would tend to agree. Not sure the current state of his shooting and defensive ability is conducive to taking a role reduction. If someone were to take him, it really only makes sense if they plan to put the ball in his hands. Also just watching the high ranking tourney teams not one of them would benefit from a guy like Money.
It doesn’t have to be a high ranking team the key is better competition and NIL money. Let’s look at ASU for example. They will likely be in a full rebuild and will be taking in many transfers with a new coach. Tempe is located in a top 10 metro area with the best winter of any major US city and ASU is 10 min away from Sky Harbor which has over 20 flights to the Bay Area daily. Also just watching the high ranking tourney teams not one of them would benefit from a guy like Money.
WOULDNT WOULDNT OH MY GOD THAT LOOKS SO MEAN I MEANT NOT A SINGLE TEAM WOULDNT BENEFIT FROM HIM FOR THE RECORD.Also just watching the high ranking tourney teams not one of them would benefit from a guy like Money.
I just more so meant it in he’d benefit any team in the country. It doesn’t have to be a high ranking team the key is better competition and NIL money. Let’s look at ASU for example. ASU themselves might not be a top tourney team this year or next year but they have the NBA pedigree as a program for example James Harden. They will be facing top tourney teams over half the time in conference play. UofA is my pick to win the whole thing this season. I was at the game earlier this season where they broke their program record for regular season wins.
The BSC conference was bad basketball this season, they are just lucky that a handful of conferences were worse. The league was balanced, but not because it was stronger. The gap from top to bottom of conference strength have never been wider.Dillon Jones was a first round choice from Weber State. His contract was worth just shy of 14 million dollars.
I’d also just like to point out that the narrative the Big Sky got weaker this year is wrong. Idaho got a 15 despite finishing 7th. While there was no standout team, this was the strongest the league has been top-to-bottom in a while. That’s reflected in the league’s metric rankings. Big Sky finished 16th in the Net. For reference, the Big West champ (14th rank) got a 13 seed.
I don’t think he would benefit UofA. Their freshma shooting guard was California Mr. Basketball, McDonald’s All American was named first team all Big 12 freshman and is leading their team with 15.9 points per game.I just more so meant it in he’d benefit any team in the country.
i think money could play the 1,2 or 3 depending on his usage and the scheme. he’d be a short 3 but he’s got all the talent to play 1-3I don’t think he would benefit UofA. I think he needs to play the 2 at a higher level. Too many turnovers to play point guard and not big enough to play forward.i think money could play the 1,2 or 3 depending on his usage and the scheme. he’d be a short 3 but he’s got all the talent to play 1-3
He has a long way to go to be a 1 and isn't a 3.i think money could play the 1,2 or 3 depending on his usage and the scheme. he’d be a short 3 but he’s got all the talent to play 1-3
But he might be on a team with two or three others with similar skills, and have t share playing time with them.I don’t think the Big Sky has been producing NBA caliber players. Money’s game would develop more against better competition in the Big 12.
Agree. Not now but maybe. he needs to slim down, 195, 200 at most. Develop a more consistent 3 pt. shot and cut down his turnovers. Not many BSC players get drafted because there aren't many NBA caliber players. If someone is a NBA caliber player, he will get noticed, even in the BSC. Right now, I don't think Money is a NBA caliber player.
Definitely needs to improve his treys, I think. Turnovers, I'm not so sure. Some of that I suspect is trying to do too much, with a "supporting cast" that's not quite up to it.Agree. Not now but maybe. he needs to slim down, 195, 200 at most. Develop a more consistent 3 pt. shot and cut down his turnovers.
Don’t disagree. Maybe the best route for him would be a couple of years in Europe to hone his skills and prove he’s a candidate for the NBA. I could see an NBA Taking him late round and having him go the European league and preserving their pick.No where near athletic enough for the NBA.
You should have said this first. lol. Money will get offered substantially over a million. Malik got $750 last year from Xavier. I hope he stays but totally understand if he doesn't.I just more so meant it in he’d benefit any team in the country.
