It's a fair take for sure. He was a hot commodity in his early years at UM. he could've taken several different MWC jobs but kept holding out hope that he would get the Washington job and when that didn't work out, he got picky and decided to stay at UM. Then a a couple down years around the pandemic closed in his window for getting a bigger job, and now he's been at UM so long that it would be kind of surprising to see him leave at this point.Interesting comment by the ESPN college basketball studio crew who called him "perhaps the most under-rated coach on the west coast"
I can assure you there is not one player that doesn't love Money. He is humble, smart and a great young man. They want him to get in the limelight more than he does. Believe me.
I suspect he stayed on the court because he was asked to so they could conduct the tv interview. I'm fairly confident his teammates were juuuuuuuust fine with it.
My Carolina bud watched the game too. Just as the final horn sounded, my cell phone lit up. “Fire that coach!” This was not on the players. This was on the coach. Anybody watching this game could see that. No strategy. No counter moves. With the game slipping away, nothing to stop their momentum, like a counter press to slow them down. DeCuire is a great guy, a builder of character. A great recruiter. But this showed the deficit in his coaching abilitiesTravis can’t coach athletes onto the floor. Putting Chase in was a good move, but this team needs more dudes. That will be something for the offseason, unfortunately.
Money made a lot of money the past two days, no doubt about that. He may have solidifed a second round draft slot. And I've seen far worse propsects taken late in the first round.Money has had a great tourney so far after mailing it in many times earlier in the season. It seems like a job interview for him as to where he’ll end up next year. It was funny that after the game, while the rest of the team went to the locker room to celebrate, Money went to the stands to celebrate with friends, family, and I think his agent. He stayed for pictures with whoever until they grabbed him for a tv interview. Can’t imagine his teammates liked that.
Gonzaga is ridiculous. And the semis 9 out of 11. Which is ridiculous when you think about it.
Money has a lot of family supporting him at the tournament. I’m sure his teammates are happy he gets to see them. Money has lost so much in his young life I’m sure family support means the world to him.

A couple of my good Portland friends, long-suffering Blazers' fans, have told me that Money remains a connected protege of Damian. My Carolina bud watched the game too. The best fit for him? Portland. In fact, he worked out with them before the season started. And don't forget, Portland had great success with the last player they plucked out of the BIg Sky, Damien Lillard. Both he and Money went to the same high school, Oakland High. Does that sound like a great mentoring situation for Money?
Am I sounding like an agent?
I hope they do. they don't have the athletes or depth PSU does and they will be playing their 4th game in 5 nights. Griz would smoke em.If I am Idaho I’m pressing us most of the game.
just a Montana NBC news article - i wanted to find a Portland news originally to see what they thoughtI think this may be your second post that has felt like AI. Are you getting AI summaries and posting them here? I don’t really care, I’m just curious.
I went to the psu board to see what they were saying. Last post was in 2025. Sigh. #bsc.just a Montana NBC news article - i wanted to find a Portland news originally to see what they thought
Be careful! Idaho has what PSU didn't, credible three-point shooters. EWU may have had more talent last night but Idaho contolled that game start to finish.I hope they do. they don't have the athletes or depth PSU does and they will be playing their 4th game in 5 nights. Griz would smoke em.

They are well-coached, confident, on a roll. I like our chances but am also respectful of the program this guy is building at Idaho. Their two best players are undrclassmen.
I hope we can avoid our penchant for long scoring droughts and can handle the full-court pressure any sane coach would throw at us tonight, given that incredible second-half collapse last night.
I think Idaho is good. The point I was making is that pressing the Griz the whole game would be a mistake for them. They aren't built that way.Be careful! Idaho has what PSU didn't, credible three-point shooters. EWU may have had more talent last night but Idaho contolled that game start to finish.
