Why don't the LG have at least 3 players crashing the offensive boards?
It's something that's been very noticeable all year and especially evident at the end of the year. Just now the announcer mentioned it after the wing to the side the ball bounced to ran back to the defensive side of the court as fast as they could with out crashing the board.
And why isn't the shooter crashing the board?
I was taught to always follow your shot and the opposite guard/wing would fall back on defense to stop the ball. Instead the LG have all five players sprinting back to play defense even when the opposing team isn't pushing the ball up the court in transition.
