If Zaiden comes to Missoula, we will have 6 DT's, enough to run the 4-3-4 and the 4-2-5, preferably the two defenses would be interchangeable as they usually are. If we're going to beat MSU and other top balanced or run-first defenses next year, those are the defenses that we need. !!!
Bobby Kennedy is having a press conference tomorrow and I suspect there will be a lot of defensive scheme questions asked.

He does apologize and say u of m. But never removed or fixed the original post.

Santino just outhought all of the Shi__y Kitties 😸 from MSDUI because UM pre 1960--I believe the year was 1958 when the change occurred.-- was MSU and MSDUI was MSC, Montana State College. There are still many older books in The Mansfield Library stamped MSU or Montana State University. After 1958-1960--somewhere in there--MSU became UM, and MSC became MSU.

Awe. Bless your heart ....

My dad's diploma (bachelor's degree) says Montana State and he graduated from Montana school in Missoula in the 50s.
It was 1965 when the names were changed to the University of Montana in Missoula and Montana State University replaced Montana State College in Bozeman. While it was a natural and expected change, it was not without some fuss and confusion. I ditched my MSU sweatshirts, even though they were maroon and had to scrape the MSU decal off my car window. The media had difficulty keeping sports scores straight. They still sometimes do, as did a recent recruit in a tweet.

The date of change was 1965; I was there.

Just 48 hours before national signing day, the Nevada football team landed a big commitment Monday from defensive lineman Zaiden Wallace.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder is the highest-rated prep prospect in the Wolf Pack's 2024 class, a three-star prospect and No. 903 national recruit in the class, per 247Sports. Wallace is the No. 103 defensive lineman in the 2024 class and fourth-highest-rated player from Hawaii.

Wallace also reported scholarship offers from Arizona State, California, Hawaii, Washington State, Texas State and Utah State. Nevada offered Wallace a scholarship less than two weeks ago, and he took an official visit over the weekend. Arguably the strongest player in Hawaii, Wallace played forJames Campbell High in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu during his senior season. He also played forKapolei High. MaxPreps does not list Wallace's stats.

Wallace is a nice late addition for Nevada, which will announce the majority of its 2024 recruiting class during Wednesday's late-signing period after inking just six players in the early-signing period. Since then, the Wolf Pack has landed commitments from more than two dozen players, most being FBS transfers.

First-year head coach Jeff Choate will officially announce the additions during a press conference Wednesday."
